This was not my first stay at the Lyons Inn, however it was my last stay.
Cons:

No hotel staff on arrival at 6:45 pm. Had to call to find the hotel key they had hidden for me, there were two other keys in the drawer for others, which I felt was a security risk. Both my keys worked in my door, so I felt safe in my room. The bathroom needed more attention to detail on cleaning for my liking. Mattress needed replaced, very broken down on the side you would naturally get in an out of.

Never again. I ended up staying somewhere else.

Cons:

Old, dark room on the first floor. Holes in the curtains. Holes in the sheets. There was an unlocked access door right outside my room.

The room was clean.

Cons:

The rooms' window A/C was very noisy. The bathroom stool didn't flush properly. Only one (1) chair in the room. No coffee maker, as advertised. The web site depiction is incorrect.

Pros:

It was somewhat cheap.

Cons:

No staff there. You had to call a number to ask a question. No breakfast like advertised. The shower was nasty the bed was small and uncomfortable 😣. Room size was tiny. The room number was 15 just to let you know. No phone in the room or coffee pot.

Decent value, good location, but need some help with the cleaning
Pros:

It was close to downtown and easy to check

Cons:

They obviously didn’t clean the bathrooms. There was a broken and used bar of soap in the shower, and some hairs in the shower, and also some residue on the sink. It was obvious that they had not cleaned the bathroom.

Cons:

The toilet didn’t work. The bed sheets were dirty. There was a bad odor, both in the lobby and in the room. there were several sketchy looking men and various places in the parking lot standing next to their truck. After making trips inside and out, they never moved.

Really enjoyed it and we will be back
Pros:

We stayed here, to watch our granddaughter play BB for Sterling. I rate this hotel a 10, because of the service, cleanliness, value and comfort. It is not a 10 if you are expecting a new Holiday Inn Express. Joseph, the manager was very nice. Check in was easy. The hotel was very clean, the room was very clean, the beds were comfortable. There is a great bar/grill down the street, with the best wings and buffalo chicken sandwich. 21 and under can go in as long as the restaurant is open. All the food was outstanding.

Cons:

This is not a "I did not like", as I am not really petty. This is more an FYI. They do not provide shampoo or conditioner. There is plenty towels and their is hand soap. Other than that, we will definitely be staying here when we come back. There is also a Dollar General across the street, so no biggie on the shampoo.
