Great place to stay as the food was as good as the location and it's grand charm of the inn.

Nice, but not perfect
Pros:

Great staff, pretty setting and facilities.

Cons:

Icy walkways, broken elevator and our room was in a separate building from the main hotel (hot tub over in the main hotel, didn't use it because of the iffy walkways) and upstairs from the restaurant. Good thing we liked the music in the restaurant, because we heard it loud and clear until 9 PM.

Pros:

The room was exceptionally cozy and clean. The restaurant was top notch and the servers were outstanding.

Cons:

A person shoveling snow at about 2am and then the city workers plowing shortly after that. Lots of noise to fall asleep to. Other then that I am sure that it is a very quiet area.

Nice choice for a night
Pros:

The room is large, quaint, well appointed. Breakfast was better than what is offered at many hotels these days, but is grab and go. Good thing is more healthy choices and accomodation of those with allergies. Wonderful staff. Great location for us as we were visiting family nearby. The town offers little (but is trying hard!) but it's a great choice for stay off of I-91. And not too far from Lebanon/Hanover/WRJ area. Could be good for outdoor activities, but I haven't really looked. Adjacent restaurant is good/slightly above average value.

Relaxing feeling when it was needed the most.
Pros:

Location to event, the building with river view, staff were exceptional, restaurant was amazing. The room was beautiful with the mill feel of yesteryear.

Cons:

Not that I didn’t like but I might suggest a valuable safe in the room.

Pros:

The lobby was decorated for the fall which gave it a nice cozy atmosphere. The river view was beautiful.

We loved the Inn, we will be back!!
Pros:

We LOVED The Common Man Inn! So many cozy places to sit and read or play checkers, do a puzzle. The breakfast was all you would need: muffins, bagels, French toast, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, juices and a good selection of Kcup coffee. The girl behind the registration desk was always helpful with answers to our questions. And…theres a house cat!! Plus, the restaurant attached to the Inn is really good…wide variety of food!!

Cons:

The Inn can be a little noisy because it is an old factory building. We were on the 1st floor so when the 2nd floor people came in late at night, it was pretty loud! But, again, it’s part of the charm of the inn, that’s it was a factory. I’ll bring ear plugs next time.

My wife and I found the Common Man Inn to be an oasis in a desert of paltry options with regards to hotels within miles
Pros:

The character and ambience were totally unexpected and greatly appreciated. Being attached to a great restaurant also was a bonus. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and well arranged.

Cons:

I found the bed a bit small for a couple. That is the one and only complaint, but I don’t know whether there are other options like rooms with a queen or king size bed.
