Lovely, comfortable and easy-going stay.
Pros:

Nostalgia Hotel may not have the latest and most modern hotel amenities but it has a charm all its own that matches its name. Its location is away from the hustle of downtown Singapore but it is a few short meters from a subway stop that gets you anywhere. The neighbourhood has lots of reasonable priced eateries, is close to a small shopping enclave and is charming.

Cons:

The windows could use some cleaning.

Cons:

My room was right at the lobby. And lots of noise from elevator beeping, people walking by etc meant the sleep wasn't good.

Also hot water takes forever, to the point you think it's broken and end up taking a cold shower.

Lovely comfortable hotel in a great location.
Pros:

The location was fabulous, easily accessible for the tourist centre and in the beautiful area of Tiong Bahru, opposite the famous market.
The pool was also a nice perk. There were lots of great eateries in the vicinity too.

Cons:

Everything was great, apart from the rather musty smell in the bathroom.

Perfect location in a cozy neighborhood.
Pros:

Very friendly staff and the location was perfect.
While the room was small, it had everything I needed.

Cons:

The pillows where VERY big. I prefer smaller pillows.

Definitely a place to stay
Pros:

Loved the location. It's definitely a local area, with no highrise. Great market across the road for both food and incidentals. My room was very comfortable.. loved having the water machine at the lift as I could fill my water bottle before I set off for the day. The room was quiet, no street noise. Loved having the small fridge on the wall, such a novel idea. Another lovely unusual feature was the clothes hanging set up. I want one for my home.

Cons:

Air-conditioning was directed onto the bed, but I found I didn't need it on.

Pros:

Air conditioning system was directed straight to the bed so we couldn't use it at night, also, windows were sealed so we couldn't open them either! Location it self was great, just at the edge of the city center, 20 mins walk to China town. Great place to stay for short stay and explore the city! Room it self was very clean and bed was conformable too! Recommend to stay!
