Pros:

The pool. It was excellent. Coffee in lobby. Good transport connections. Easy to hop on a bus to Orchard Road. Friendly staff. Allowed us to have early check in. Nice round about hotel. Lovely bakeries and across the road to hawkers market.

Cons:

It was only possible to access bed from one side. I had paid for a better room as I had seen the photos of the cheaper room with bed against the wall and definitely didn't want that as we are a pair of pensioners. But we got one anyway.

Pros:

The hotel was positioned well for public transport. Very clean. The staff lovely, and helpful. The room was compact with a large bathroom. We were given the room with a bathroom for handicapped, as I use walking sticks.
The bed was comfortable with nice pillows.
There are excellent eateries close by.

Location was excellent. Variety of restaurants close by and close to the metro. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was fine but rather ''cosy and dark ".

a really nice heritage hotel
Pros:

A row of shophouses has been converted into a hotel. The conversion has been done very well but the rooms are unavoidably small. The bathroom is also small, but the shower is excellent! They have even been able to find space on level 3 for a small terrace and a small swimming pool. Very helpful staff; no food service, but it is right opposite the wonderful Tiong Bahru market, so who cares? Free coffee in the lobby.
