As soon as walking through door to reception, greeted by friendly staff. Room was extremely clean and comfortable. Quiet location and easy access from car park to room. Good view from balcony.
Enjoyed happy hour in the bar followed by a tasty meal.
The room was nice and handy with the kitchenette being a pleasant surprise. The big hit was the spa bath, as we have 2 kids under 7 and they were over the moon with it.
There was a small issue, the TV was missing the NRL channel (of course), but this was by no means the fault of the staff, as it looked like it was the only channel deleted from the list. The TV settings required a code, so the young lady Cara kindly offered us the opportunity to move rooms. We moved and all was well with the new room. Quick resolution there. ✔️
The buffet was very nice and the hospitality team were bubbly and super accommodating for every request no matter how big or small.
The view was very cool and the kids also enjoyed the balcony despite the freezing cold this time of year.
All in all, a great experience, with the smiles and can-do attitudes everywhere we turned.
Small challenges which may not be able to be helped. The pillows were too soft and felt on the cheap side. If better pillows can be secured, that would go a long way to a much better night's sleep.
Lastly, feedback for the very nice team there;
We felt that there was an assumption that we've been there before, as we had to call for every little thing. E.g. we did not know where the buffet was, and we did not know where the menu for room service was.
As Australians ourselves, we do love and appreciate the laid back Aussie attitude, but a tiny touch of polish on arrival and the question "have you stayed here before?" Would go a long way.
Please don't think this is a dig at the staff, just a suggestion. As mentioned, you have very nice, positive and hard working people!

Staff were abysmal. Property does not accept cash. Bar menu only on Sunday and even then was very limited as sold out of items.
Location excellent if you love Motorsport, or just like being a little out of town.

Bathroom very dated - shower over bath was quite a big step to get into, and the bottom of the bath quite slippery so not the best set up. Shower door and bath surrounds were very dirty with water stains, and the extractor fan didn’t work so it got very steamy and damp in a short time.
One of the bedside lamp power cords was damaged with exposed wires, so the lamp didn’t work.
Went to make a cup of tea, and the provided milk in the fridge was already open and half empty - so don’t know how long it had been sitting there…
I realise we visited in low season, but the onsite restaurant was quite underwhelming too
Being able to walk outside our room, watching the kangaroos and birds, and the race track from there. The view of Mount Panorama was special. The room was very comfortable and quiet.
Hubby said his side of the bed (left) was a little uncomfortable. My side was perfect. The vent above the shower could use a bit of a clean.

Climbing into the shower/bath was an issue . Wish I knew it was like that I would have requested another type as i have a very fragile bone disease and cant risk falling
