A very old and aged hotel that definately is overdue for a renovation.
The gym is terrible. The restaurant is a ghost town. The amenities are so outdated. There’s minimal lounges around the pool.
I’m glad I only paid $100 for the stay, as I checked out soon after checking in.
I won’t stay here again.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay. Staff excellent. Kristin, one of the managers and 2 other staff anxious to know how we enjoyed g hotel and how could improve. Suggested more fruit at Breakfast and next day appeared! Spacious room, great pool and comprehensive breakfast ( although cereal sweet so suggested oats / bran as alternative). Such lovely staff. Hotel close to German beach and just 1 k from airport but quiet. Would certainly stay again.

Aston Kuta Hotel was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If there was anything that you needed, they would get it done right away. My hotel room was clean. I was given an international charger at no extra expense. Breakfast was included with my stay. The food was delicious. They had their signature Indonesian food and some western food. What I didn’t like was the swimming pool is right near the dining area. I wish it was a rooftop.

The hotel sign was broken which was the first indication of the up keep of the hotel. It's tired looking and unkept. Needs a lot of handy work doing to bring the standard back. The 4 star standard has long gone. Rooms dark wood, chipped and damaged furniture and dated. Bath mat dirty and shower head full of limescale. Air con great. Large comfortable beds. The buliding needs sand stone cleaning and painting. Lots of cracked peeling paint and dried up plants. Lots of refurbishments happening so very very noisy throughout the whole day. Workman sawing, drilling, laying floors and hamering. Not relaxing at all. The gym equipment is old and the air con is not powerful enough in there. The breakfast is lovely lots to choose from. Bbq buffet was good each evening. Portion sizes on the al la carte are small so dont go really hungry. Staff are amazing very friendly and attentive. The spa looks dull and smelled of damp. It didnt look inviting so we had our treatments down the street. Jerman beach is about 5 - 10 minutes walk away. But its dirty and full of rubbish/plastic so we used Gojek and went to the other beaches. Fab location for the airport.

We eate in a local restaurant at 2 minutes walking distance. The beach is close as well as many other attractions.
