Important information:

To use the hotel's free shuttle from JR Hakuba Station or Happo-One Bus Terminal, please call the property at least 1 day in advance to make a reservation.

To eat breakfast/dinner at the hotel, a reservation must be made in advance.

Free shuttle services are provided to nearby ski resorts, while late-night shuttle services are available to nearby towns between 17:00 and 23:00. For more information, please contact the hotel directly.

The free shuttle is available to the following ski resorts between mid-December and 31 March: Hakuba Happone One Ski Field / Hakuba Goryu Ski Field / Hakuba 47 Winter Sports Park / Hakuba Iwatake Ski Field / Hakuba Sanosaka Ski Field / Hakuba Minetaka Ski Field / Tsugaike Ski Field.

Please note that the maximum occupancy of the room includes all children and cannot be exceeded under any circumstances. For extra guests exceeding the room occupancy, guests will be asked to separate rooms and additional charges will apply. Guests may not be accommodated if there is no availability.Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the property’s public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests.

Pros:

The staff were amazing and the facilities were great. It was also central to the ski resorts.

Cons:

It's advertised as ski-in/ski-out. I was there in spring, but I highly doubt you could ski up to the accommodation in winter as there are multiple roads you would have to cross.

Beautiful hotel and great staff
Pros:

The property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating. The shuttle pick up is efficient and we were able to get from the station to the hotel with ease. The rooms are spacious with clean bathrooms, and the lockers for skis / snowboards were helpful.

Cons:

The property is a bit far from restaurants in the evening (10-15 minute walk in the snow) so be prepared to use a taxi or walk. Breakfast was ok, but could do with some more western options and allergy information.

Accommodating Staff and Perfect location
Pros:

The staff were incredibly helpful from way before our arrival helping us plan the best route there from Tokyo and even afterwards helping me in finding a missing item I left on a bus in the area. They went above and beyond. The rooms were spacious, quiet and clean and they had shuttles to the ski lifts which were very easy to use and not too far from the town for restaurants.

Cons:

The beds were a bit hard however I’ve found this everywhere in Japan so this may just be my problem.
The restaurant didn’t have a huge choice and required preordering meal by 11am that day which wasn’t ideal. However breakfast was good.

Perfect stay at Hakuba Tokyu for our Family Ski Vacation in Japan
Pros:

We loved this hotel. Our room / suite was roomy and comfortable. The onsen was wonderful before and after a day of skiing. The breakfasts were delicious and varied. The shuttle made it easy to get to the slopes and various mountains around Hakuba. The location was a 10 minute walk to “town” where there were many restaurants to choose from. The staff were helpful and warm.

Pros:

Отель находится в 10 минутах ходьбы от Эхоленда. Прекрасный завтрак, онсен, аренда горнолыжного оборудования прямо в отеле и комплиментарный шаттл до склонов. Персонал очень вежливый и оперативно реагирует на любое обращение. Отдельная благодарность за возможность бронировать проживание с оплатой при заселении.

Overall, a great hotel and I would recommend to others to stay there.
Pros:

This hotel exceeded my expectations for a three star hotel. The staff are lovely and the rooms overlooking the park are great (only a little dated). It’s great having the restaurants and shop on property. The lodge had yummy food and the shop had some great brands, including North Face. It was good having a laundry available to use onsite too.

Cons:

We did the equipment rental at the hotel - all went smoothly and was convenient having the service there. However my husbands skis were so sticky he could face down the mountain head on and not move! He had to return them in the middle of the private lesson and get a replacement - wasting hundreds in lesson dollars. I also saw others having the same issue and instructors saying they had never seen it so bad before. I recommend asking for a fresh wax before hiring.

Pros:

Great location down the street from Rythum for snow rental equipment and they pick up directly from hotel. Big room and very helpful staff, highly recommend when in Hakuba. They'll help call a taxi and provide ride service to and from bus station

Lovely old style hotel. Rooms very comfortable and service very good.
Pros:

Location is great for access to all the ski resorts - just a short drive.

Cons:

Teenage boys wanted Netflix or at least an English movie channel but there was nothing.

Would stay here again and again
Pros:

Everything was so clean and well kept. Huge range of toiletries provided and amenities including free coffee and an ice machine. Daily housekeeping was also provided. Hotel breakfast was amazing and especially convenient for early mornings before hitting the slopes. To top it all off, all of the staff were extremely helpful with anything we asked of them, from ski gear rental to booking taxis on our behalf.

Very bad value for money.
Cons:

Bad value for money. No hotel own shuttle. Limited food options at only one restaurant. Staff generally good but one staff at the reception desk was not helpful and seemed clueless with things
