Very spacious, comfortable room. Attractive, cozy public areas. Gorgeous location. Short walk to the Mt. Washington Hotel, with all of its amenities.
My only quibble: the fitness room in the Mt. Washington Hotel was tiny, and the treadmill was out of order. (I believe they're in the process of preparing a much bigger and better equipped fitness center.)
Location and staff were excellent.
A little pricy,. But that's ezpected.
Room service didn't replace glasses or provide bottle water each day.
We enjoyed eating at the restaurant at the Inn. We had breakfast twice, and the set menu with wine pairing for dinner. The dinner menu was absolutely wonderful! We had four adults in our party so we tried to cover every selection of the dinner menu. We were all pleased with the choices. Utkush waited on us and he was amazing but the entire staff was amazing the entire time. The bar doesn't open until 5pm. However, Ashish accommodated us and opened it up early. My husband enjoys a great aviation and it's difficult to find someone who knows how to make them right and Ashish didn't disappoint. I would also recommend the lavender cosmo too. Rich checked us in and provided the history of the Inn and the estate. The entire staff was very friendly! We ate dinner one night at Stickney's. I would suggest patio dinning, if it's available. The view is stunning!
The air conditioning could have been better. We were there in August so the temperatures were in the 90's. I'm sure it was having difficulty keeping up. That is the only negative I have about our stay.
Customer Service really was amazing, Beautiful Continental Breakfast, Shuttle was convenient, Location has amazing mountain views, Outdoor Heated Pool In -17° wind chill, Spa (but book early to get what services you want), Skiing, History Tour was awesome. (You Should produce a teaser video for people considering) (You should produce a SEASONAL video of things to for people who have already booked)
No units with jacuzzi en suite, price was a bit high for value, was not able to get ski and stay package or ski and ride (snowmobiles) package, No karaoke on high density holiday week, all kinds of games but no billiards?, wifi was not optimal, Concierge was weak and wasn't able to produce anything we were looking for, not much in the surrounding area within half hour in winter and resort dining and shopping isn't inexpensive
Great location, away from the busyness of main hotel and within a short walk away from all the facilities.
There were a lot of flies in the room upon arrival (most, not all were dead).
well-appointed facility, great location, superb food, chef much better than in the Omni Hotel
Our room had a continuous vibrating noise all afternoon and very early in the morning. We were told that this is because our room was right above the kitchen. We had to move after the first night to the Omni Hotel. This should not happen
This is a great more affordable option than the larger Omni a short walk away. We did utilize the larger Omni‘s restaurants and bars, and work out facility.
It was way understaffed. We got there right at check-in time and the hotel has one luggage cart. So of course it was being used. Even though our stay was short, we were on a long trip and had a lot of luggage and there was no one to help us. They forgot to put robes in our room, and when I called down to the front desk no one answered. When someone finally did answer and bring the robes. It was the same girl who is working the front desk at check in. They are very lucky they had Andrea working that day. She was working very hard and it seemed like she was the only employee at the hotel. She deserves a raise. The restaurant and bar option at the hotel was also closed.
Its location and access to the main hotel’s grounds, taverns and restaurants.
We were disappointed with the continental breakfast. Its only source of protein was an overcooked hard boiled egg. No meat or bread options, only pastry and fruit. This was a menu change from prior years. This was such a dissatisfier that we have second thoughts about returning next year. Chain motels offer better continental breakfasts at far less expense.
Room was good. Our expensive dinner was not so good. Definitely recommend eating off property.
Everything
Great property next to the big hotel. Super quiet, super friendly front desk personnel. The restaurant is really good and the price is excellent. The grounds are something else, specially the path between this hotel and main one.
On the negative perhaps the AC could be updated for a quieter split, it would wake you up every times the compressor kicks in.
We weren't exactly thirlled about having to pay $20 a day to park when there was an enormous parking lot adjacent to the hotel, especially since it was self-parking. We thought the continental breakfast was delightful. The staff were kind and attentive. Pillows were great. We loved the wooded path leading to the Mount Washington Hotel. The location is breathtaking and we will come back.
Please do away with plastic bottles of water. Bad for the environment and who wants to drink nanoparticles of plastic at this point. I would like to see carafes of ice water in the rooms. I was pleased to have glass tumblers, and a recycling bin. But the bottled water has to go!
