From a location standpoint, it’s highly practical, close to key shopping areas and well connected to the train network, which made navigating Tokyo straightforward.
The hotel itself is well presented, and service throughout the stay was consistently professional and accommodating. Staff were responsive to requests and created a smooth overall experience.
Rooms, however, are compact. For travellers moving through Japan with luggage, space becomes a real limitation. There isn’t much room to properly unpack or organise, which is worth factoring in for longer stays.
What truly stood out was the level of care from the staff. When my wife lost her phone during the trip, one of the team members, Jinn (apologies if the name is slightly off), went above and beyond to assist. She coordinated with local authorities and made a genuine effort to help us recover it.
That moment shifted our perspective, not just on the hotel, but on the broader standard of service in Japan. It reflected a level of ownership and guest care that goes beyond transactional hospitality.
Key insight: This is a well-located, efficiently run hotel, but it’s the people that elevate the experience.
Would I return? Yes, particularly for the service reliability and location.
Best for: Travellers prioritising connectivity and dependable service
Less ideal for: Those needing larger rooms or travelling with significant luggage
We stayed here for four nights when in Tokyo, I think there are better value hotels ultimately sleep and showering are the most important and this hotel significantly lacked on both. We were in room 135 a twin room on the ground floor.
1) there was an incessant beeping that took place every 10-20 seconds between 7am and 11pm. Given it stops between these times the hotel are clearly aware - it drove me mad
2) the shower is ridiculous, the settings on it are akin to a hose pipe and completely rubbish. The holders for the shower are immovable and insufficient with showering a human.
3) one of the days a speakerphone which comes into the rooms told us they were investigating a fire and to await further instructions. The staff left this active so you could hear their movements and interactions, no update on next steps or to say it was safe ever came.
4) the restaurant attached to the hotel is barbarically priced for what it is both for meals and for breakfast.
the location is good, it is quiet in the surrounding areas with good transport links.
Did not like our stay here. Service was well below par and rooms were very expensive and tiny. We don’t think we’ll be returning here anytime soon.
The location was great, right by a subway and the shower was fantastic
The room was tiny, the bed was up against the wall, the lighting was dark and dingy and the bathroom smelt a bit damp. Also super stingy by offering a single complimentary coffee in the lobby.
It should be written that the gym is paid separately
right above a train station which was very handy
not really anything
Pleasant hotel with clean, modern, spacious rooms. The location is perfect for exploring Tokyo, with the metro station right underneath the hotel. Several good restaurants and a convenience store can also be found in the mall connected to the hotel. TeamLab Borderless and Tokyo Tower are within walking distance as well.
This hotel offers very good value for money, by Tokyo standards. If you have doubts about which neighbourhood is the best for a multi day stay in Tokyo, look no further. This is it, as from here you can reach Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ginza, the harbour area, Asakusa, and Akihabara all easily.
Quiet soundproof and blockout blinds. Comfortable pillows. Close to metro downstairs
Room too small to open suitcase. No toiletries in rooms.
Room shape odd… long and narrow with no view. Limited early check in at extra cost. Breakfast for 3 person about about ¥90000 very expensive for average breakfast.
