Die Zimmer haben keine Klimaanlage. Das ist im heissen Sommer sehr anstrenged. Die Pool Öffnungszeiten sind ungünstig, wenn man beruflich unterwegs ist.

Nettes Hotel in guter Lage, mit gutem Frühstück
Pros:

Die Unterkunft liegt nur 5 Gehminuten von der Tram Haltestelle entfernt. Das Frühstück bietet einen gute Auswahl. Den ganzen Tag über, kann man sich am Kaffeeautomaten bedienen, zudem gibt es kostenloses, gefiltertes Wasser. Am Nachmittag wird sogar ein Kuchen bereit gestellt :). Zudem hat das Hotel ein ausreichend großes Schwimmbecken, in dem man Bahnen schwimmen und sich abkühlen kann. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Am ersten Tag hat man uns Zimmer 17 gegeben. Das ist so nicht vermittelbar. Es liegt ebenerdig und ist von 2 Seiten einsehbar, d.h. die Leute stehen quasi im Zimmer, sobald man die Fenster öffnet. Zudem ist es extrem laut. Zum Glück konnten wir am 2. Tag in ein Zimmer in der ersten Etage wechseln. Ein Unterschied wie Tag und Nacht. Vogelgezwitscher, deutlich größer, besser ausgestattet und schön ruhig zum Hinterhof gelegen.

Nos avisaron de un overbooking el mismo día de la llegada cuando el viaje era de trabajo y sin ofrecernos solución alguna dejándonos totalmente en la calle ya que debido a la feria todo Basilea estaba ocupado. Al llamar ni siquiera sabían respondernos en inglés y achacaron todo a un problema de reservas de la plataforma con la que operan.
Lo más increíble es que han hecho como si nada en Booking haciendo como que sí se ha disfrutado de la estancia y no hay trazas de que vayan a devolver el dinero de la reserva ni tampoco piensen una indemnización por haber dejado tirada a una persona.
Lo peor que te puede pasar cuando vas a trabajar. Espero que no le pase a nadie más.

Conveniently located, cheaper option than staying in Basel city centre.
Pros:

Conveniently located. 10 mins taxi ride (16 euros on Bolt) from the airport, 15 mins tram ride from Basel central station. Some basic shops near by, or French supermarket / bistro within 15 mins walk (or tram back to Basel city centre for more). Fairly spacious clean room with balconies.

Cons:

A half of clothes hangers were missing - asked for replacements on the first day, then reminded next day but never received. The toilet flush is very weak... we had to use bucket when needed... If you are sensitive to noise, request rooms on the rear side - as you can hear everything, cars, buses, also can smell smoke from pedestrians.

Lo staff è stato disponibile e molto gentile, accontentandoci anche in piccole richieste. La posizione è ottima per spostamenti con bus o tram. La camera è piccola ma confortevole.

Pros:

Le personnel, la terrasse, la chambre avec balcon

Cons:

on a demandé à l'avance à prolonger notre séjour mais qu'il fallait revenir le lendemain, et du coup le jour J ce n'était plus possible; nous avons été très embeté pour retrouver autre chose. Dommage.

Dans l'ensemble, le séjour s'est bien déroulé.

Cons:

Nous avions réservé un petit appartement pour 4 personnes et lorsque nous sommes arrivés, le réceptionniste nous a annoncé qu'il n'y avait plus d'appartement disponible. Nous avons donc eu deux chambres/studios pour 2 personnes. Dans l'ensemble, le séjour était satisfaisant, malgré cela. Nous aurions cependant souhaité être avertis par l'établissement avant notre arrivée.
