Cons:

Terrible that the cost of the room was so high but then charging parking on top of that. You could park at the Walmart for free next time.

Pros:

Signage inadequate drove through mall delivery to find the hotel front door

Cons:

I’ve stayed at other HIS where hospitality was gratefully on display. At HIS Thousand Oaks getting into my wallet was not hospitality.
Example:
1. Front desk displays items to purchase. I had just drove several hours would have been nice to see smiling faces and a bowl of fruit or cookies.

2. Your parking is at the back end of a mall. Your front desk employee was cloyingly sweating as he described how my car would be tagged if I didn’t display a parking tag. He actually showed me the tow tag. I’ve stayed at other HIS and was not charged for parking. I felt coerced to pay for parking.

3. I wanted to go for a walk. Dodging cars in a Walmart parking lot was not safe.

4. I checked in at 3:00 pm I booked two rooms through booking.Com. at check in I requested an adjoining room. I was traveling with my mom who is 99 years old and family. I was told since I used a third party booking and did not let them know my needs I could not have an adjoining room. The room we were assigned had an adjoining room door. I did not hear or see anyone use that adjoining room.

My family lives in the area next time I’ll stay somewhere else where hospitality and piece of mined are available.

Won't stay there again because of parking charges
Pros:

The stay was clean, the room was comfortable,
I did like that you offered other items for breakfast such as toast, bagels and waffles. That was good. And the dining room area was tidy and clean and well equipped

Cons:

toilet paper holder was unstable, and the breakfast was just so so. ( Greasy bacon and bland eggs)
The thing that we most displeased about was the parking fee. $20 to park your car in that neighborhood? That's ridiculous. We would have been better off. Just parking in the Walmart parking lot and walking over! I have stayed in this hotel many years ago and never had to pay parking. In this day and age with the cost of food and gas etc. You shouldn't gouge customers parking in your parking lot after they paid top dollar to stay there. That part was very disappointing. THERE WAS NO JUSTIFIED REASON TO CHARGE FOR PARKING.....OTHER THAN GREED

My stay was an overall very positive experience thanks to good service ans lovely reception staff.
Pros:

The breakfast here was impressive and well-thought-out. They offered a great variety of hot options, including potatoes, sausages(altyernate with patties) and omelets. I was especially happy to see oatmeal with a nice selection of toppings(nuts, raisins, etc).
Dairy & Healthy Starts: Boiled eggs, yogurt, 2% milk, and three types of cereal (including a gluten-free option).
Fresh Fruit: Apples, bananas, and oranges.
Bakery & Spreads: Three types of bagels and two types of bread. Spreads included cream cheese, peanut butter, packaged jams, and a delicious house-made jam.
Pastries: Two types of muffins and two types of scones.
Waffle Station: They provide two types of waffle dough (including gluten-free!) for self-cooking, with honey and low-sugar syrups available.
Drinks: A wide variety of coffees, teas, and hot chocolate.
Honestly, I couldn’t think of anything else they could have added.

Cons:

It could be nice to have vegan protein options like beans or tofu. The pull-out couch was unfortunately quite uneven and uncomfortable

Pros:

Nice people. Big room. Excellent breakfast.

Cons:

Kind of tricky to add $20 parking fee. Yes, I did check the fine print, and yes it was disclosed. Still deceptive. Don’t like nickle and dime surprise charges. Just put the $20 in the room night prices.
