Quiet, dark, comfy rooms and very good location
Cons:

Although I love the buttered chicken on the restaurant menu, the menu has not changed in a very long time - as a repeat visitor it might be nice to try something different

Stop over from coming from out west before flying overseas early next morning

Always stay at the Novotel when cruising
Pros:

Had everything we needed. Liked the location next to DFO and easy access from airport and to cruise terminal. Comfy beds and good size room

Check in is now self serve which is ok but felt very impersonal.

Self check in is silly. Restaurant is just ok.
Pros:

Close to the airport with a shuttle. Also right across the street from a large shopping center. The IBIS is right on the airport. But uses the same shuttle.

Cons:

Not a fan of the self check in. This hotel is not an economy property. You pay a big price and then have to check yourself in? No thank you. At least there should be both options.

Stopover x2.. we came back!
Pros:

We travelled with our children & grandchildren. The staff were very accommodating of our needs. Anthony was especially good at breakfast with the kids, we appreciated his kindness & patience. We also had to cancel a room & the management staff were terrific. Thank you all.
