Media One Hotel Dubai

Hotel has been very accommodating even decorating the room for my birthday! Been helpful and keeping everything as calm as possible with the situation in Dubai and keeping us informed.

Benson has been amazing in garden on the 8 with amazing service!

I’m giving Media One Hotel a full rating. Our stay was genuinely excellent and exceeded expectations in several areas.

Breakfast
The breakfast isn’t a huge buffet, but it’s very high quality and thoughtfully put together. Fresh pastries, fruit, and a well-selected range of options are more than enough. The chia pudding in particular was outstanding.

You can also order à la carte, with different egg variations from omelettes to poached eggs. Avocado toast and French toast are freshly prepared, and coffee specialties like espresso and cappuccino are available alongside warm dishes. It’s the perfect balance between quality and variety.

Service in the restaurant is attentive, fast, and very friendly. You immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere is lively, with slightly louder music, which fits the lifestyle vibe of the hotel and Dubai in general.

Room & Location
We were very satisfied with the room. Modern, clean, and comfortable. The location is a major advantage. Getting a taxi via app is quick and easy, and you’re perfectly positioned between Downtown, Dubai Marina, and the Palm. There’s a direct highway connection nearby, but without disruptive traffic.

Taxis in Dubai are also very affordable, which makes getting around from this location even more convenient. Since we used taxis for everything, this was ideal.

There’s also a small supermarket within walking distance, perfect for stocking up on water, plus two nearby restaurants.

Special Thanks to Rawan
What truly made this stay special was Rawan. She always had a genuine smile, was incredibly warm, and made us feel welcome from the very first moment. She took time for us, shared valuable tips, checked in to make sure everything was perfect, and was always there whenever we needed anything.

Because of her, the hotel felt personal. Not just a place to stay, but a place you connect with.

After our departure, I realized that I had forgotten a very valuable personal item at the hotel. I contacted the team and received an exceptionally fast response. The item was immediately secured and arranged for international shipping back to me. I would like to personally highlight Mirra’s outstanding help and commitment. Her professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine willingness to assist turned a stressful situation into a very reassuring experience.

I enjoyed my stay overthere. The staff were friendly specially the Deputy Manager JOY who extended her utmost efforts to providing all the hotel facilities and services to smooth our bussiness stayover. The meeting room was tidy and well arranged. I would love to return back again

I booked Media One Hotel via Vio.com in November 25. Three hours after the booking, I started receiving whatsapp messages from different senders asking me to confirm the booking and for paying. I sent a message to the hotel and email to Vio.com asking about the suspicious whatsapp messages and both of them said to me that the data breach did not start with them. The Media One Hotel and Vio.com confimed to me that their system does not send whataspp messages to any client. I canceled the booking with Vio.com but messages continue to come to me. It means that Media One Hotel and Vio.com washed their hands about the data breach and nobody is responsible for anything. However I continue to receive scams through whatsapp for me to confirm booking and pay. If you need any documentation, contact me that I sent you all the emails exchanged with the hotels and authorities about the case

had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel. From check-in to departure, everything was smooth and well organised. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming and relaxing.

A special mention to Joy, who truly made the experience even better. Joy was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble, and her positive attitude really stood out. It’s team members like Joy who make a real difference and turn a good stay into a great one.

Fair stay with one significant drawback - the pool area gets very little sun and is mostly shady.
The hotel is nice overall and makes a good first impression with an impressive lobby. My room was clean, modern, and comfortable, and the gym was well-equipped and pleasantly quiet during my visits. There’s also a nice bar area showing sports, which was a good place to relax in the evening.
The main issue for me was the pool area. Although it’s attractively designed and well laid out, it receives very little direct sun. When I asked at reception — while another guest was raising the same concern — I was told there are only small pockets of the day when the sun reaches certain spots. Unfortunately, every time I went it was fully shaded and often windy.
If your priority is spending time by a sunny pool, this may not be the best choice. Otherwise, the hotel itself is comfortable and well maintained. This was a shame for us as my wife enjoys time in the sun. The alternative of paying for access to another hotel or resort’s facilities with sun, away from the hotel is far from ideal.

The valet service is the worst that I have ever experienced. Not for the first time they just seemed to lose my car. I missed a work meeting - and it cost me more than my whole stay at the hotel. Another guy that tried to get his car like 10 minutes after me got his car at least 10 minutes before me, and I was pretty much the only person there! Any other views I have on the hotel are totally dwarfed by the valet here. I usually come to Garden on 8 too, but I'm not sure I would even risk that any more. As I say, this is not the first time. It is no exaggeration to say I almost died after, as I was in such a rush I almost had a very bad accident.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Media One Hotel; the staff, especially the front desk, were super friendly and helpful, and they were available at all times to assist. The Room was very comfortable, clean, and had everything needed. The Location is quite good as well, with access to the tram and Metro within walking distance. I would definitely stay there again.

I had a fantastic stay at Media One Hotel in Dubai. The property is modern, stylish, and full of energy, making it perfect for both business and leisure.
