Stayed for one night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The room is exceptionally spacious, thoughtfully designed to include a comfortable sitting area, a small dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen features an oven, microwave, and capsule coffee machine, making it well-suited for both short and extended stays.

The bedroom offers a very comfortable bed, complemented by a generously sized bathroom. Guests also have access to all the hotel’s facilities, which enhances the overall stay.

A standout feature is the long balcony, offering views over St George’s walkway with a partial glimpse of Table Mountain. There are several excellent restaurants within the hotel as well as in the surrounding area, providing ample dining options. Parking is conveniently managed via valet service.

Old World opulence in Central Cape Town
Pros:

The Taj is an excellent base for a short stay in Cape Town, centrally located and with excellent facilities. It exudes an Old World feel. Our suite was spacious, clean and well appointed. A fantastic end to our South African travels.

Staff are fantastic across the board, from the welcome st reception to the valet as we left. Comfortable beds and great facilities. We respected an additional bed and it arrived promptly.
