Cons:

Las camas y almohadas eran duras, nada cómodo. Había una pendiente alta para llegar caminando al hotel, por si quieres ir caminando a la playa que está cerca.

Perfect Place to Relax Near Kata Beach

The resort itself is very nice, with a calm and comfortable environment. The room was clean, spacious, and well prepared for us. We really appreciated the little details that made the stay feel easy and pleasant. The pool area was also a great place to relax, and the overall facilities were well maintained.
What stood out the most during our stay was the service. Everyone we met was welcoming and helpful, but I would especially like to mention Bam. Bam was amazing — very kind, professional, and always greeted us with a genuine smile.

I had a wonderful stay at Novotel Phuket Kata Avista Resort and Spa. The resort has a relaxing atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and everything felt very comfortable from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, spacious, and perfect for a peaceful holiday in Phuket.

She greeted us with such a warm and friendly smile the moment we arrived. She was incredibly patient when we asked about the resort facilities and local attractions, and gave us so many great, practical tips. does not meet 5-star standards, and the reality falls well short of the marketing.
Pros:

The resort grounds are nice, but the rooms tell a very different story. The furniture is old, worn, and poorly maintained. The mirror, desk, walls, and other room fixtures showed visible signs of age and lack of upkeep. Cleanliness was also disappointing, with dust, stains, marks on surfaces, and overall poor attention to detail.

The mattress was extremely uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The gym was another letdown—small, outdated, and not what you would expect from a property marketed as a 5-star resort.

What disappointed me most is that the photos on the website do not accurately reflect the current condition of the rooms and facilities. The online images make the property look much newer and better maintained than it actually is.

Overall, this resort does not meet 5-star standards, and the reality falls well short of the marketing.
