Good place to sleep. Room
Pros:

Quiet, breakfast was take away fresh fruit and coffee/tea, the location was on the edge of the downtown core. Good room darkening curtains. Right across the street from city hall.

Cons:

The water quality in the room was very poor. The water smelled and tasted like sea weed. The hotel had a bar and restaurant on the main floor so the building had to have had access to good water. The hotel offered high end soda pop in the room - two cans - in the room but due to the quality of the water, they should have provided some bottled water. They also provided a high quality coffee maker in the room but you had to use the gross tap water to make it unless you had bought your own bottled water. It doesn't add up.

A really nice hotel in the heart of Victoria with helpfull staff and comfortable rooms.
Pros:

A really nice hotel close to the heart of Victoria. No breakfast option, though free coffee and fruit available. Staff were very helpful. Bathroom a bit tired, though functional. We had three rooms, one had limited storage. The bar was great fun ad restaurant good value. We enjoyed our stay!

Cons:

More storage and bigger shower. Otherwise, really noce hotel.

convenient location at a reasonable price
Pros:

Great location: I was in Victoria for a conference + sporting event. My husband and I were able to walk to all the places we need to go.
Great staff: they really tried to accommodate our requests. They were very helpful.
The hotel building has an interesting history and there is a display set up in the basement of the hotel with rich Chinese decor that commemorate this

Cons:

Room was a bit small.
The bed was a bit on the softer side for me, but I like really firm, so possibly that others would find the bed just right.

Pros:

The staff was lovely and the room was very clean.

Cons:

It’s nit-picky, but the towels were a little old and thin, especially given that the decor and bed were so lux for the price.
