Clean hotel and courteous staff
Pros:

The hotel is impeccably clean and comfortable. The service is exceptional and the staff are very responsive and courteous. I was pleasantly surprised by the great in-house restaurant and room service. The food was excellent and offered great varieties to the point that I mostly ate there. The management kindly let me do a late check-out. I had an unfortunate event happen with my subsequent travel and I returned to the inn after checking out. The staff responded with empathy and allowed me to stay in the same room. Additionally, the hotel is a short distance walk from the corniche.

Large packs of barking dogs congregate outside front entrance, can be a bit intimidating. not good at all.

Séjour agréable, hôtel situé dans le quartier Français.
Pros:

La sympathie du personnel, la propreté de la chambre et son confort.

Cons:

Nous avons été logés dans l’hôtel annexe situé à 200 m plus haut, ce qui en soit n’est pas très grave mais on aurait pu être avisé. Apparemment c’est le sort des réservations .

Quel hôtel!
Idéalement situé dans la zone francophone, à 4 mn du bord de mer.
Nous avons eu une chambre au dernier étage avec le joli balcon donnant sur la place. Un ascenseur fonctionnel et agréable.
cet hôtel ancien est bien adapté à notre vie moderne accrochée à son wifi !
La chambre est coquette , bien équipée, climatiseur, ventilateur plafond, TV, frigo, bouilloire. Portant pour les valises, vaste armoire, miroir , fils de séchage sur le balcon. Salle d’eau complète: douche, lavabo, WC.
L’eau chaude est instantanée, la douche puissante: un grand bonheur !
La robinetterie est d’époque, robuste et efficace.
Le breakfast est copieux, varié,
Parlons du personnel :
La gérante nous a attendu pour nôtre arrivée tardive, grand et beau sourire chaleureux, à l’écoute et aux petits soins. Tout comme le personnel y compris le gardien extérieur
Nous recommandons vivement ce havre de paix situé au coeur de la ville bruyante.

Good value for the price
Pros:

Staff cannot be nicer. Laundry service was very good but be aware of they charge 18% taxes on top of the given price. Room was very clean, everyday asking if we wanted room service. The location is very good.

Outstanding service, very comfortable room, great sleep, delicious food!
Pros:

A peaceful property tended to with so much love. Excellent location to explore the French Quarter, ashram and walk the promenade. Very comfortable room. The best part was how the entire team was very kind and helpful. Chiranjit in the restaurant remembered all my favorite breakfast items and was a bright part of my mornings when I would go to breakfast after my morning walks on the promenade. It was a perfect homebase for my time in Pondicherry. I look forward to staying again on my next visit.

Une belle surprise à deux pas de la "ville blanche"

Situation très appréciable en bordure de la "ville blanche".
