Great location, very clean property and great staff

The hotel had a fire and burned down 4 days prior to our paid reservation. No one at the hotel or booking.com called to let us know. We arrived at night only to find out this information from a neighbor hotel. I am very disappointed in La Quinta/Wyndham.
This property os closed due to fire! We had a confirmation but no one from the hotel alerted us to make alternate plans. Arrived at the hotel to a fenced off parking lot.
Next day received a text saying we hope you enjoyed your stay. Huh what stay? Gotta love automation without oversite.
We complained to Wyndham corp who had no idea nor sympathized with our situation.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was decent, had options for everyone. Easy to get to from expressway and close to some good dining options.
The room exceeded my expectations, just beautiful! The breakfast was fabulous and I highly recommend this hotel chain.
Tom was clean, comfortable. Beds were very comfortable and cozy. Breakfast was good. In room coffee is excellent
For the disabled room, the sink was high for wheelchair access, the toilet seat should be more chair height, no bench for the tub... but we didn't ask. Perhaps that should be requested, but we didn't know. But overall very very good at this hotel!

I liked the accessibility of the room. It had handrails near the commode and in the shower tub combination. We didn't use the pool, but it looked clean. There was an elevator. The breakfast was good. Eggs, sausage etc.
The door key did not open the door to the pool.
