Children running and jumping around in hallway right outside of our room area until midnight 1 a.m. and back at it at 5 a.m.. when I had been driving for 10 hours and had 10 more hours to drive the next day. Elevator made very scary sounds and shook every time you were heading up, especially to the 3rd floor that we were on

When we entered our room, there was a strong smell of urine. I brought it to their attention, but nothing was done to address the issue. We stayed in the same room for six days, and not once did anyone come to clean the room or change the linens. The conditions became so bad that I had to personally go ask for a broom.

I went to the front desk at night, but no one was there. When someone finally returned, I asked for towels and was told they did not have any available. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. The lack of cleanliness, communication, and basic customer service was extremely disappointing.

Great Location to where we needed to travel. Felt Safe directly on the hwy.

Cons:

The elevator was not working properly and they placed us on the 3rd floor. The staff would have to get the elevator that was stuck on another floor. Often the staff did not want to get the elevator for us so we had to take the stairs. When we would call to request the elevator, it was often met with an attitude or 30 min waiting period (they forgot). That was very difficult with 4 kids.

Nice staff, good area, breakfast not the best and dining/coffe area stayed dirty
Pros:

The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly. They make you pay a $100 deposit for incidentals which I wish were better explained during booking. They did refund/reverse the hold pretty fast after checkout. Only downside was the breakfast/coffee area consistently dirty and not enough hot food for guests during the 7 am - 10 am breakfast. Aside from that, it was a descent stay.

Cons:

The breakfast was minimal and the area was not regularly cleaned. Trash was overflowing. They ran out of breakfast the first day and the second day no scrambled eggs. I would suggest having adequate supply of food toast the entire time for breakfast and ensure there is an attendant that cleans and wipes up regularly. The pool was cold and not heated, lots of chlorine. Rooms were clean and comfy.
