Bedroom was nice and warm, bed comfy and breakfast delicious.
The townhouse was spacious
This is a very old property and feels more like self-catering apartments than a proper resort. Many basic amenities were missing: no iron or ironing board, no washing machine, no soap, no luggage assistance, and even slippers had to be purchased separately.
There were also very loud and disturbing noises from the ducks outside the unit, especially early in the morning, which affected our sleep.
The water was also yellowish/brown from the taps and shower. I contacted the hotel and was told that this was the water available to them, which I found very concerning.
Overall, the stay was very disappointing. The property needs significant improvement, and many basic services and amenities are simply not available.
The Moorings was an absolutely terrible hotel. We had to walk to the reception to fill our water bottles. There were an overwhelming number of mosquitoes, and there were 5 spider webs right on top of the beds. We repeatedly requested housekeeping to clean up the spider webs, but they would never listen. Worst hotel ever.
It breakfast was good and its location was close to attractions.
The bathroom water was dirty.
The rooms were dusty and not clean.
The apartments not suitable for family.
The Heaters werent working despite informing front desk several times
