lovely staff but photos are not a true example of current state of the hotel, needing update

hotel is worn out needing updates, furniture tattered , wall paper damaheg, drawers sticking shower heads loose

Very welcoming and value for money.
Pros:

Pool & Spa facilities were lovely though a bit tired.
Room was spacious but tired
Free evening drink
Electric charge parking though only 2 working

Cons:

Rooms & facilities were tired.
The designated smoking area was very close to rooms - whole wing smelled of smoke.

Decent hotel but could be better
Pros:

Very welcoming, comfortable bed and great breakfast

Cons:

The rooms are run down, look dated. Our bathroom sink was blocked.

Not worth the price
Pros:

Easy to get to, large bed

Cons:

Tired decor, spa is more of a gym with small pool and needs work on it, sheets and pillows weren't great, towels were very rough, walls are thin and curtains arent big enough to cover the window. No way to regulate temperature, one of the windows is sealed.No plugs near the bed, stingy on the biscuits.

Thankfully only 1 night
Pros:

Requested my room was awsy from doors in the corridor this was confirmed by telephone, however we were guven a room right next to doors. The room wasnt very clean, a sign up to use rubber shower mat but no mat provided a couple of lights didn't work, no heating in room we had to use a plug in oil filled radiator located in tne wardrobe. The sockets were outdated no USB plug in.

A nice stay
Pros:

It's un a quite location and I sleep well.
The staff was very friendly upon arrival through my night there. They have a golf section also, but it relatively small. The hotel is a bit of maze though!

Cons:

The room wasn't as cleaned as I would expect! There were spider webs here and there. The shower head was not screwed properly and I had to manipulate it to avoid water going in every direction. The furniture in my room was a bit dated but not really a bad thing as it was well kept.

Pros:

Good location nice and quiet

Cons:

The decor was quite tired and worn. Our room was a superior double but apart from a dressing gown was no different to other hotels standard doubles.. The food was mediocre
