Decent room for a single traveler.
Although the hotel is within the city center, there aren't a lot of eateries nearby.

Fairly well priced, city center is not super near but at least walkable, nice staff. Beware the laundry service prices though!
The room was absolutely tiny, just big enough to walk past our bags. They offered us a reduced-rate upgrade but that was for a twin room so we chose not to. Also, the hotel is quite a hike away from the center, taking a 20 min walk every morning just for breakfast (or lunch, or dinner) is not great.
And lastly, the biggest offender was the outrageous price for the laundry service. A whopping 200 ringgit just for about 4-5kg of laundry? Absolutely bonkers. Had we known this beforehand (prices are not listed anywhere) we'd just walked over to the laundromat where you can do your laundry for literally 1/10th of the price!
I had a good time at Cititel. Terbaik 👍🏻 Staff Wilma & Colin sangat membantu. Will recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Bazar ramadan di belakang hotel saja. Sangat convenient.
So far so good. I like this hotel. The housekeeping, Ms Merlyn is very helpful and the front desk Ms Ros & Ms Wilma very friendly.
Wilma and Ros made my check-in perfect today. They welcomed me with bright smiles and patiently helped me with my limited English. They are truly the flowers of City Express Hotel.
