Emplacement superbe, directement sur la plage!
Pros:

Super emplacement, directement sur la plage, tout en étant à proximité des restos et autres attraits. Clientèle locale et internationale, belle ambiance.

Goede locatie, relaxte strandvakantie
Pros:

Goede ligging van het hotel: op wandelafstand van het centrum (restaurants, markt, supermarkt), direct aan het strand.
Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet inbegrepen.
Kamers waren niet luxueus, maar wel in orde. WIFI was ok, airco was goed.
Ik zou hier opnieuw boeken bij een volgend verblijf in Holbox.

Cons:

Niet ivm accomodatie, maar algemeen: hou ermee rekening dat de straten in Holbox vaak modderpoelen zijn, dus niet zo handig om te fietsen.

La posizione, la location fronte spiaggia!! La camera ampia e spaziosa rende molto di più dal vivo rispetto alle foto! Piccola chicca in bagno sono ci sono rubinetti ma conchiglie!!!

Forse avrei messo degli sdrai e ombrelloni piuttosto che tavolini e sedie! Diciamo che vista la posizione invidiabile fronte spiaggia potrebbe migliorare questa zona al posto dei materassi molto vicini! Comunque la struttura ha molto potenziale

Pros:

The room was nice and the bed comfy. The aircon did not blow on the main bed (but on the second one yes), and it was possible to adjust it.

Cons:

It seems that the "Mexican rule" is not to give the room before the scheduled check-in time (I have such experience also from five starts hotel) - OK, this is also the choice. The beach is small and crowded, the see very shallow, nice swimming impossible - but for leasure OK, especially if you get a sunbed. My room was just opposite the pool and close to the beach bar, noice till 12 pm, rooms are not at all soundproof. The breakfast is rather simple, and started almost ten minutes later compared to the scheduled time (8am only). The reception does not work early morning, if you plan to leave early, you have to check out in the evening before.

Wauw, een paradijs op het paradijselijke eiland Holbox!
Pros:

Je waant je in een klein paradijs, fantastisch aangekleed waar de Caribische sfeer compleet tot zijn recht komt.

Ook de ligging is perfect, net buiten het gezellige dorpscentrum maar binnen een loopafstand van enkele minuten zit je zo weer in het levendige centrum. Ook de ligging direct aan het strand met genoeg luxe strandbedden en zitplaatsen is alles wat je je maar kunt toewensen.

Het ontbijt was prima, en ook erg vriendelijke medewerkers in het hotel.

Cons:

Ze hebben een mooie beachbar, maar door de prijzen die hier gehanteerd worden jaag je iedereen weg naar de andere strand tenten die hier maar wat graag op inspelen. Erg jammer, want met concurende prijzen zou iedereen graag blijven zitten.

Pros:

Mooi hotel en ligt goed. De strand bar met ligbedjes is heel relaxed ondanks de hoge prijzen voor drankjes en eten.

Cons:

Altijd een lange rij bij de receptie. Ver van de ferry, je moet met een taxi als je grote koffers hebt. De handdoeken voor het strand en zwembad zijn oud en gerafeld.

Great place where everyone should have the chance of a sunbed
Pros:

Really nice room with a balcony, cute decorations and comfy bed. The aircon was good.

The place by the beach is stunning! If you get a beach bed ( they are a bit few and people are putting ”dibs” on them from early morning with the beach towels) it’s a lovely place to stay with the white sand, turquoise water and lush palm trees.

The bar makes good drinks if even a bit pricey.

It’s close to the center but not too busy.

I read some had music from the bar into their room. I emailed and asked about it and they gave me a room with peace and quiet. Very sweet.

The little pool was clean and nice. The big one was on restauration

They helped me get a taxi to the ferry and you can get fresh beach towels every day.

I have some suggestions for improvement but all in all I’m very happy with my stay and would love to come back

Cons:

The sunbeds are too few or you should have rules like some resorts, that if you leave your towel alone on a bed for more than 30 minutes it will be taken away. It’s not fine that people ”own” a chair from morning to night but just spend an hour or two there…

I was very disappointed when the big pool was out of use for restauration. It was one of the reasons I chose the hotel to have the pool close to the ocean so it was sad

The beach bar is too pricy. The staff is nice but the rates are on airport-level and then to put the tips as an extra fee on the receipt instead of letting the customer decide the level is a bit rude.

The breakfast is ok but refilling is not very fast.

Personal preference but I would have preferred if the beach bar played more Latino music and less middle-eastern style music. I’ve been to Turkey and Egypt but to hear that music when in Mexico took away a lot of the Mexico feeling and made me feel somewhere else

As I wrote earlier, I’d love to come back, it’s just personal preferences that makes rooms for improvements. The sunbeds seems like an ongoing problem though in the reviews so you should shape things up with some rules
