Lesson learned, will never stay at a place being remodeled
Pros:

Probably one of the worst stays I’ve ever had. First we get here and they warn us that the following day the water is going to be shut off all day so heads up if you need to shower, do it early in themorning…. Seemed a little bit weird but OK we accepted it. We asked for a crib for the baby about six times and waited several hours before they finally gave us one.
Then we see signs everywhere that there is construction for a remodel going on, but they assured us that the noise would be limited to the hours after 9:30 AM, etc. etc.… 745am… The noise starts in the room right next to us… Drilling, hammering, everything under the sun… it took three calls to the front desk and me walking down there physically for them to stop. If you’re remodeling a place to the extent that you need to shut the water off, Maybe you should close for a couple of weeks?!?!?! Not continue to take people’s money by providing them a place to stay that’s comparable to crashing on your buddies couch. Will never be staying here again.

Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port Excellent
Pros:

I absolutely loved my stay at Hyatt Place! The location was perfect, with stores, restaurants, and everything we needed within easy walking distance. Hyatt House was also located directly across the street.

The property was clean, and the staff was outstanding. Check-in was quick and easy. Even though we arrived early, the staff was able to accommodate us.

What impressed me most happened after we boarded our cruise. One of my guests accidentally left a pair of headphones in the room, and the Hyatt Place staff called to let us know. That level of honesty and customer service truly stood out to me.

As a travel advisor, I would rate this hotel a 10-plus. I’ll definitely use Hyatt Place again as a cruise-port hotel for my groups and clients. Excellent location, excellent staff, and excellent service!

Good and the location is great
Pros:

My stay was good, however they are renovating and it's noisey after 9:30am, . I was disappointed because I'm on vacation didn't want to get up early.

Pros:

Was very dissatisfied with our room... we paid for a top floor and did not receive a top floor and have both people above us. That is why I asked for a top floor and paid for it. When I brought it up to the desks attention they said there was no manager on duty to come back in the morning before we checked out. The air conditioner was horribly loud and sounded like an airplane. We were also next to a highway which was extremely loud. There was also no soap in our bathroom. It just was not a great experience.
