Pros:

Lovely Hotel in a quiet area. Cart available & the driver, Wat is very helpful. Filme at front desk is very friendly. Has an amazing breakfast selection & best I have had in any Hotel. Also have a beautiful selection of traditional Thai costumes for trying on. Overall great experience.

Hidden Gem with a few cracks
Pros:

La Petite Salil is a hidden gem in pleasant suburb of Thonglor. It punches above its weight for an average room rate range of about 1700 to 2000 baht per night). It has a pool, sauna and French-styled ambience. Thaipioka cocktail bar is connected to hotel, which is a cosy, unpretentious music and dance venue with great service. The only downside of the hotel is some of the reception staff's lack of English which caused confusion when I tried to extend. More disappointingly, the duty manager later made it very difficult to rectify their mistakes and provide a solution. It was only when I requested to speak to the Operations Manager (Luchvar??) did the duty manager acquiesce and provide a satisfactory solution. But this experience was so unpleasant that it led me to cutting my stay there short and booking for another week at a nearby hotel, which was a shame as La Petite Salil is a good value hotel in a nice area. I hope the Operations Manager considers this email and discussed with their reception staff as how to better handle such situations better in the future. I also wanted to praise one particular staff member, Miss Mai. I believe she has a wonderful manner with staff and she was my first impression of the hotel. Unfortunately, she did not get in touch with me about confirming an extension of my stay and room, but that aside, I believe one day she will make a great duty manager or general manager, and I think hotel management should enrol her in a leadership program.

Great Stay in Bangkok

I recently spent several nights at La Petite Salil and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is perfectly situated in Thong Lo 1, making it easy to explore some of Bangkok’s best restaurants, bars, and shopping areas.

The room was clean and comfortable with modern amenities. The bed was cozy and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Modern bathrooms and housekeeping did an excellent job throughout my stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful. I had missunderstanding during my stay regarding hotel policies, and the manager Olivia was particularly understanding and professional in resolving it! It’s refreshing to encounter such flexible and guest oriented service.

The location really is a highlight! You’re within walking distance of so many great options and the area feels safe and vibrant. There’s also easy access to taxis and public transport if you want to explore other parts of Bangkok. The hotel also offers a shuttle service to the BTS station to avoid walks during the midday heat.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend La Petite Salil for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel in Bangkok with attentive service. Good value for money and a solid choice in the Thong Lo area.

Excellent
Pros:

Rafa and Ann were extremely helpful in arranging my experience here. Got politely greeted me at the door and gave me snack snacks and refreshments while I was checking in. I rat this highly. The buffet is great. They have a mini store. The food is wonderful. The restaurants are good and the atmosphere is delightful, there’s a beautiful pool , gym and sauna.
