Great location, but in need of some maintenance
Pros:

Exceptional location, we stayed in one of the beach facing penthouses. Reception was very efficient and friendly and the continental breakfast (pastries and fruit cups) were a nice touch.
The room was a good size and reasonably well apointed kitchen (see below) furniture was OK if a little on the low end of quality for such an expensive apartment

Cons:

The room is in need of a makeover. Air Conditioning only works if every door is fully closed (sensors). In summer it is nice to have the cooled offered by the AC with a sound of the surf in the background.
Front door is warped and very difficult to open with one hand. Front door sensor is a bit hit and miss.
Bathroom productswere disposable - we would have thought for a high end apartment there would be high quality dispensers for the shower and sink.
Kitchen had basic salt and pepper and nothing else eg oliver oil, glad wrap, etc.
