Wir waren von unserem Aufenthalt begeistert und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Das Hotel befindet sich in einem wunderschönen alten Gebäude, das viel Charme ausstrahlt. Alles war sehr sauber und angenehm ruhig.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das äußerst freundliche und aufmerksame Personal. Die Rezeption ist rund um die Uhr besetzt, was uns bei unserer späten Anreise sehr entgegenkam. Nach einer Autofahrt von über 10 Stunden kamen wir erst gegen 20:30 Uhr an. Leider stellte sich heraus, dass die Tür unseres gebuchten Zimmers defekt war und nicht kurzfristig repariert werden konnte. Das Personal reagierte jedoch sofort und fand eine schnelle, unkomplizierte Lösung: Wir erhielten ein Upgrade auf ein anderes Zimmer. Dafür nochmals vielen Dank!

Das Frühstück war gut und bot eine solide Auswahl. Lediglich mehr frisches Gemüse sowie eine pflanzliche Milchalternative hätten wir uns gewünscht.

Auch der schöne Pool und der botanische Garten haben uns sehr gefallen. Die Lage ist hervorragend – sehr zentral und direkt am Meer.

Insgesamt hatten wir einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und kommen gerne wieder.

Charming opulence, if a little tired
Pros:

Loved the beautiful building and public areas inside and out. Lovely grounds and spacious outdoor breakfast area. Fantastic staff. Charming bar with super helpful barman. Location is great and a 10min walk to the railway station.

Cons:

Bedroom was a bit cramped and could do with a refresh. Didn't like having to leave car keys at reception so they can shuffle cars (top tip, park in a corner then it won't need to be moved).

Wir kommen wieder
Pros:

Traumhafter ehemaliger Adelspalast mit grossem Innenhof, mitten in der Altstadt. Dort wird bei schönem Wetter das ausgezeichnete Frühstück im Freien eingenommen. Den Tisch darf man allerdings nie alleine lassen, sonst wird er von den lauernden Möwen ruckzuck "abgedeckt". Toller Pool unter alten Bäumen, alles sehr stimmungsvoll.

Eine sehr schöne Woche und einer attraktiven Umgebung.
Pros:

Das Hotel mit seiner Geschichte, der Park, die Lage. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, wirklich gut. Der Pool ist auch eine Attraktion, es könnte auf der "Hotel"-Seite ein paar Schattenspender brauchen.
Attraktiv auch das Frühstück im Garten - sehr breites Angebot, gute Qualität. Der "Nachschub" war nicht immer allzu gut gewährleistet.

Cons:

Katastrophe Badezimmer (Zimmer 104): die Duscharmatur ist fast nich bedienbar (geht viel zu streng), und der Mischer in unserem Zimmer war nahe am kollabieren (Stift zum drehen des Mischzylinders löst sich regelmässig bzw. fällt dann in die Dusche). Die Tür zur Dusche schliesst nicht. Es fehlen auch geeignete Ablagen für die div. persönlichen Utensilien.

Palazzo d’epoca in posizione ottimale con personale estremamente gentile e disponibile. Ottima colazione in giardino (fantastica). Piscina molto bella con lettini molto confortevoli. Plus dell’hotel la spiaggia privata fronte hotel ed il parcheggio (cosa non da poco in Liguria

Pros:

Underbart charmigt och pampigt gammalt hotel. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal som parkerar ens bil, bär väskor och kör fram bilen vid avfärd. Mysig bar mot havet med utmärkt, kunnig och sympatisk service även här. Toppenfrukost med knapriga bacon som jag älskar och förtjusande serveringspersonal. Vårt rum var kanske av lite enklare karaktär men vi valde också det enklaste alternativet. Totalt sett en mycket angenäm upplevelse som det ofta är på familjeägda hotel. Rekommenderas varmt
