Hotel San Filis made our stay perfect!
Pros:

Hotel San Filis in San Felice del Benaco is a beautiful, historic building with a gorgeous courtyard, an excellent pool and garden, all with a relaxed and informal vibe.

Our top floor room was small but cosy, lovely decoration, well equipped, and a great bathroom.
Our fantastic view over the pool was towards Lake Garda.

Breakfast was included, and was very good- eggs, ham, pancakes, fruit, yoghurt, bread, honey, jam, pastries... very impressive! (my experience of breakfasts in Italian hotels has not been great until now!). Also free water dispenser 24hrs a day.

The staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable; and their restaurant recommendation (Citiesse) was fantastic.
We borrowed E-bikes from the hotel (no charge!) and spent all day riding to Salò and back (was beautiful!). We spent another day just hanging out at the pool. Didn't want to leave!

Altogether, a really fantastic hotel which ended up being the best thing about our stay at Lake Garda. Can't recommend it enough!

Cons:

There was really only one thing which could and should have been better- the coffee at breakfast. It was really not great, and it's not easy to find bad coffee in Italy!
It's a shame the hotel restaurant didn't open in the evening; if it had we would certainly have eaten there.

Pros:

Hezká terasa, zahrada s bazénem.

Cons:

Při naßem příjezdu ve 23:30 hodin nebyl nikdo na, recepci,, přestože recepce měla mít službu do 24:00 hodin.
Po půl hodině čekání přišla paní z vedlejší místnosti kde se dívala na televizi a začala se nám věnovat. Nejhorší bylo, že nám byl přidělen pokoj, který jsme si neobjednali, protože jeho rozměry byly místo 17 metrů čtverečních necelých 9 metrů čtverečních, místo velké manželské postele byla hodně úzká postel. Fotografie pokoje, kterou pronajímatel uvádí na bookingu se vůbec neshoduje s pokojen, který nám byl přidělen. Toto jsme ještě večer v recepci reklamovali a bylo nám přislíbeno, že se vše vyřeší ráno.
Druhý den nám byl nabídnut jiný pokoj, který rovněž nesplňoval naše požadavky. Byl zase malý a vůbec neodpovídal tomu, co jsme si objednali. Nakonec nám recepční arogantním způsobem oznámila, že jiné volné pokoje nemají. Protože jsme byli podvedení, tak jsme požádali o pomoc pracovníka bookingu, aby kontaktoval recepční a vyřešil náš problém s neodpovídajícím ubytováním. Pracovník bookingu rovněž neuspěl a nabídnul nám symbolickou finanční kompenzaci.
Dejte si pozor na tento hotel, protože jejich reklama a fotografie pokojů na bookingu neodpovídají realitě a dle požárních plánků to vypadá, že ani žádné velké pokoje pro hosty ve skutečnosti nemají.

Alles sehr sauber, sehr gutes Frühstück

Cons:

Das 2Bettzimmer hatte ein kleines Bett, welches an der Wand stand. Einen Nachttisch gab es nicht. 2 Koffer waren nicht unterzubringen. Für eine Person top, für 2 Personen eine Zumutung.

Heerlijk, wij komen terug!
Pros:

Het personeel was geweldig en erg vriendelijk. De locatie was top, het hotel was super schattig en het zwembad was heerlijk.

Cons:

Het enige wat we jammer vonden was dat er bij het ontbijt iets op was en je zelf moest vragen of het bijgevuld kon worden. Hier mocht van mij wat extra op worden gelet.

Super séjour à l'hôtel San Filis ! Le personnel était absolument adorable avec nous tout au long de notre séjour ! Nous avions deux salles de bain parfait poir 4 personnes ! Les lits étaient très confortables et la piscine très propre ! Le linge et les draps sont fournis !

Mycket trevligt hotell i den lilla fina byn med en kort promenad till sjön. Reception, städning och frukost håller högst
Pros:

Det är en mycket vacker byggnad med entrégård fylld med prunkande växter och bakgård med stor pool omgiven av växtlighet. Rummet mot bakgården är jättefint med fräscht badrum.
