This is a modern Parador and, in keeping with these hotels in general, the atmosphere is of understated and unobtrusive luxury. Everything functioned perfectly and the staff bent over backwards to be obliging and helpful. The position is ideal for exploring Puebla de Sanabria and the lake 15 km away.
Fantastic location within walking distance of river and old town. Amazing view of castle at night.
Central location and good exit route out of town, with covered car parking
Comfortable room and public areas, lot's of places to sit and relax.
Food was excellent in the restaurant.
Bathroom was excellent.
Cleaning was excellent and staff very friendly.
No tea or coffee facilities in the room, and so had to pay for everything from the bar, even water.
Could do with a water cooler in the corridors.
Bar area was a bit clinical.

Sehr schöne, entspanntes Ambiente, Blick auf die Altstadt, sehr gutes Frühstück mit lokalen Produkten, auch Abendessen vorzüglich (bis 23:00 Uhr geöffnet), sehr zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter. Ich war leider nur auf der Durchreise - wäre gerne 2-3 Tage länger geblieben
