Nothing.
The Parador was one of the reasons why I visited Cuenca, so I had high expectations. They exceeded them. I had a fantastic corner room with a view (out of one window) over the gorge/old town. There is no aircon in April so it is necessary to open windows to get airflow. The bug screens were not in order when we arrived, but the staff came up and fixed them and then all was well. It was wonderful that, even with the windows open, the room was very quiet (at least until woken by the birds - but even that is a plus). Parking is available on the road above the hotel for free and you can load/unload luggage in the small temporary carpark at the front of the hotel (or you can park underground in their carpark). The staff were very helpful and accommodating (actually some of the best staff in any Parador I have visited - a high bar to achieve). The hotel is also just across the bridge to the old town, though those fearing heights should take care (but I managed). My wife made a point of saying we will have to visit again during our next Spain trip, a rare bit of praise from her as she normally likes to see new places each time. Did not avail myself of the food package, but the quality of food on offer was definitely appealing as far as I could see and smell.
