We will not return.
Pros:

Great central location.

Cons:

Poor state of repair, dirty carpet, holes in the net curtain.
When requesting further teabags and milk for our second night, none were available.

Very disappointing. Lady on reception offered a 50% discount - awaiting credit through credit card.
Cons:

Lack of cleanliness. Gaps in pulled curtains. Room at ground level and windows were not frosted - people could see into room if curtains were not drawn. Shower-head broken to extent that water sprayed across the room.

Pros:

Great location near the train station. Quite basic facilities but bed was comfy and the room was clean. Very reasonably priced.

Cons:

We stayed for two nights but the tea/coffee/milk were no replenished after our first night. Also shower was a bit rubbish with low water pressure.

Ok for One Night but no more!
Pros:

Location great, as we attended a Party nearby in Berkhamsted Football Club. Friendly Reception Staff. Nice white fluffy towels. Breakfast good, despite the long walk to a sister Hotel the Kings Arms.

Cons:

Room was very tired and in need of refurbishment. Bed uncomfortable, my partner kept rolling into the middle of the bed. Shower temperature hard to control and cold water tap of shower fell off! Air Conditioning unit noisy, tapping sound.

Location is great and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but clean and have everything you need for a nice, great value stopover. So peaceful, private and safe.

Cons:

A little fridge would be great but not a deal breaker 😀
