Very small room
Despite reception being at the top of a flight of stairs and our room being up a further flight of stairs there was no lift availability,only in use for disabled people.
We were offered help with luggage from reception level

We are looking forward to staying again

Food good , service good ,room perfect

Cons:

We had problems with EV charger. Staff not briefed on helping customers
We were charged for the carpark in spite of the fact we used the bar for drinks and snacks and the restaurant for evening meal . Had we not been staying at the hotel, use of the carpark would have been at no cost.

A wonderful stay.
Pros:

Loved the room which had a jacuzzi bath. The staff were helpful and professional. Wonderful breakfast with local sausages and bacon.

Cons:

Had to pay for parking because we did not book directly with the hotel.

Breakfast was good, although I’d have liked a bit more.

Didn’t appreciate being woken up at 5:45 ish by a very noisy dust cart on Tuesday morning.

Comfortable stay in a perfect location.
Pros:

Staff were very nice, also efficient. Breakfast was lovely. The hotel is very clean indeed.

Cons:

The room was too hot and small. We did advise reception when we checked out. The black coffee at breakfast was too weak.

Pros:

Everything about our stay was excellent - it's a hotel with such history and character and remains a vibrant focal point for people in this lovely town. Staff were incredibly friendly, the food was very good and it has a wonderfully peaceful back garden - perfect to relax in when the sun is out
