Location to my work was good. Reasonably comfortable. Good breakfast
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to unforeseen circumstance.
I liked the size of the room and windows, lots of little extras like toiletries and enough glasses for the bathroom too. I personally found the bed a bit too soft from what i am used to (personal choice) Enjoyed the view over the bowls club, thought it would have been used more.
the entrance despite a large no smoking sign needs a bit of attention in clearing the butts out of the large containers and general litter from the front door.
We had a problem with the heating, in that the individual thermostats did not work, so we had the heating on all nights, with the windows wide open. We mentioned this, and the heating was turned off centrally but didnt come on again, so we had to ask them t turn it back on, but again it did not turn off, so had to phone again.
Good location, friendly staff, warm rooms.
Unfortunately there were some people staying who were noisy at 1:30 am and 3:30 am.
Well lit car park with plenty of space, good size room, quiet, clean, comfortable bed.
Flashes of bright light disturbed my sleep on Saturday night
Easy check in, clean room, complimentary soaps
The radiator was stuck on full blast, with no visible way of turning it down.
Windows didn't open more than a few centimetres.
No clear option for breakfast in the morning (everything seemed closed at 10am on Sunday)
Open and friendly staff. Restaurant onsite was good.
Bit dated.
Great stopover hotel. Staff were very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and had good tea and coffee-making facilities. It was quiet at night. All good.
Clean tidy and great location
No bar
The staff were super friendly and couldn't help enough.
The cooked breakfast was not good; we're not sure what the bacon was...possibly SPAM? That said all the ingredients were cooked perfectly, especially the fried bread and scrambled eggs, just a shame the chef is being provided with inferior ingredients.
The mattress on the bed was well past it's best.
The soundproofing between the rooms was non-existent.
The lack of bar was offset with a discount voucher for the bikers pub next door, great idea but need to consider if this is the best solution - I'll leave it at that.
Location is good for us. Breakfast is good. Staff helpful and friendly.
The hotel is being refurbished. The communal areas were cold. The WiFi kept dropping. Unfortunately the main bar is longer there.
Was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed, plenty of coffee, biscuits, milk, toiletries.
We didn't get time to eat but the Indian resteraunt downstairs smelt absolutely beautiful.
Bed was very comfortable and I slept very well. Towels were immaculate and fluffy
Room was a really nice size
The tv remote didnt work which was a bit inconvenient.
Outside when you pull up the place is absolutely filthy and needs cleaning up asap to be honest. It gives a very poor impression which is unnecessary as inside is perfectly nice. My recommendation to the hotel would be to do there best to rectify this as quickly as possible and plant some plants in the planters that are being used as ashtrays, that small difference would be huge.
You have to ask staff to let you in late at night as the card slot on the door isnt working
All in all i wouldnt let this put you off as it was more than worth the money.
Lovely obliging staff,very helpful
