Breakfast was very good and service was very pleasant. Hermitage Park is a nice hotel where I have stayed in the past, it's now looking a little tired in places. We had a very loose toilet seat and the bathroom door stuck so you couldn't actually close and lock it, minor things that could be easily recitified. But it's certainly very good value for money and I'd be happy to stay again
Only needs a bit of basic maintenance and attention in a few places.
Easy check in, clean functional rooms and parking.
Brilliant location, friendly staff and the breakfast was great!
Nothing
Staff very helpful and always polite
Housekeeping staff very efficient
Curry house on site , made for an easy relaxed family meeting
Size of room
Convenience for the town and visiting family
Loo seat! But we didn’t say it was loose
Lack of drawers for a weekly stay , but I understand the hotel probably geared for shorter stays
Step over bath for shower not convenient for us and a bath mat could have been supplied (but we didn’t ask)
Cigarette buts in the flower pots that just grew as week went by
General untidiness of gardens lowered the appearance of the hotel frontage ( we did have it explained that it was under review) but the cigarette buts and a quick weed would improve things greatly , I defiantly would be put off from holding a big family event due to it
Average
Better laid out, no knives for buttering toau
Miniature spoons for cereal
Friendly helpful staff
Good food.
Very helpful receptionist. When I complained about how dirty the room was, she changed my room immediately. The bed was very comfortable.
First room I was allocated:
- the windows were dirty on the inside;
- the windowsills were covered with dust, dirt and cobwebs .
Second room I was allocated:
- as above for the windows;
- neither bath nor toilet had been cleaned.
Staff were great
Not keen on breakfast-Turkey bacon and chicken sausage.
Evening meal great- freshly cooked Indian cuisine
Staff welcoming and helpful
The property is a little run down ,which is a pity.
I opened the window and the bottom section was held on by Gaffer tape. As the temperatures rose the tape came adrift and the bottom part of the window fell off only to be saved by the security wire!
The window sill was rotten and had clearly been temporarily repaired.
The toilet seat had a mind of its own and one had to be careful sitting down not to get any dangley bits caught.
Reported this on morning of departure and the receptionist just seemed resigned to the fact
The Restaurant. Absolutely excellent food and value. Lovely ambience. Great Staff.
Our room was clean and comfortable.
The bathroom was far too small. Hardly any room to get in between the door and wash hand basin. 'Good job we weren't on the larger side"
Na
Good price nice and clean
Nothing really bit tatty and dated ...looked a bit of a mess outside long grass and needs decorating
Clean and tidy
Rooms need a bit of an upgrade.
Room was cleaned everyday, also stocked up with water, biscuits and everything else to make tea and coffee.

A refreshing stay all round even so
Reception staff were really good, evening meal was great
Could have been a couple more plug sockets in room
It was quiet with easy access to Coalville centre. English breakfast was cooked and you could still enjoy the international side too. Staff members were professional, polite and caring.
There was nothing wrong with the. Hermitage park hotel.
