Very comfortable but scope for improvement
Pros:

Room was large and comfortable. Lighting in the seating area could be improved to make it more welcoming. The service in the restaurant is excellent but unfortunately the food, especially the dessert, was not as good.

Cons:

It is March and the outside areas could be made more attractive.

Great location. Lovely room overlooking the river with a very comfortable bed and terrace to sit out on. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the grounds were perfect for dog walks. The hotel is very dog-friendly providing a dog bed, treats and a dog bowl. It was the perfect place to stop on our journey south from Calais.

Cons:

The restaurant style was nice and staff lovely, but we were disappointed with a few of the dishes on the set menu and would have preferred à la carte which wasn’t an option.

Prachtig hotel
Pros:

Hele mooie locatie , zeker bij reizen met honden heerlijk aankomen in deze kasteel tuin .
Leuk om een hondje matje en eet bakje te zien klaarstaan .

Cons:

De extra prijs van 2 x 20 € voor de honden vinden we wel wat overdreven .

Das Gebäude selbst ist toll. Wir waren im Nebengebäude untergebracht. Ein sehr grosses Zimmer, tolles Bad.
Kleines Manko. Die Toilette ist separat, aber unbeheizt und ohne Waschbecken. Im Dezember war es wirklich frisch.

Wellnessbereich schön, aber je nach Zeit und Personal gut oder eben nicht so gut hergerichtet. Eine Liegemöglichkeit wäre schön.

Frühstück hervorragend. Im Restaurant auch mehrfach fabelhaft gegessen.
