etwas kleine Badezimmer, für Kurzaufenthalt aber völlig ausreichend

The inside of the building feels quite outdated, and the rooms do not seem to have been renovated for a long time. There are visible mosquito stains on the walls and scratches on the ceramic surfaces. The room facilities are very basic and feel cheap for a hotel in this price range.

Wir bestellten ein sehr feines Menu von der Karte, leider waren die Teller nicht heiss genug, damit die Speisen bis zum Schluss temperiert blieben. Die Terrasse war aber das absolute Highlight mit einem unvergesslichen Sonnenuntergang und das Anfang Mai!

Aucune personne ne parlais français à la arrivée, même pour le dîner c'était pareil, heureusement qui un serveur savais parler portugais qui nous a dépanné.

Ich hätte länger bleiben wollen ;)

Nichts

1. Reception staff quite underwhelming. No carrier trolley for luggage, receptionist resistant to help, assigned us a room up a flight of stairs that can't be reached by elevator. 2. Staff loitering around, smoking in front of entrances, an ordeal for clients to walk through a cloud of cigarette stench, we were forced to take showers and change clothing again, even in the early morning! I talked about it to reception staff but his answer was "It's allowed, it's no big deal." 3. Serious lack of hygiene at terrace restaurant: for example, staff used a client's soiled napkin from a used plate sitting on a side counter outside to wipe off coffee spilled from the espresso the waiter was bringing to me -- wiping my cup, spoon, saucer with someone else's bacteria! Didn't replace it. Unacceptable. 3. Food at dinner was simply bad quality and badly prepared (refried/reheated). 4. Empty shuttle bus blocking parking at the entrance so we couldn't drop our luggage off by car, driver telling me to park elsewhere and carry it up stairs! Me having to get out the car 3 times to tell them to move over, driver taking 10 minutes to finally shift up 5 meters to make space for clients. 5. The whole place was run down -- dirty, rusty, rickety metal furniture on the terrace, old worn out interiors except our very small room which had just been renovated but smelled super strongly of paint. 6. We couldn't open the window to get some air, because the hotel had a disco going on right next to us, which they didn't warn us about, and motorbikes were roaring by on the road just below our window until late at night. We also got woken up at 7:15 on Sunday morning by another disco, or fitness class, or maybe staff playing loud music in the basement of the hotel, who knows, but no peace and quiet on our precious holiday weekend.... Overall, this left a very bad impression of customer service, low value for money at this hotel.

Es gibt ein Mottenproblem im Haus, an diversen Stellen, auch in unserem Zimmer roch es nach Mottenpulver. Im Bad gab es eine mitten im Raum stehende Badewanne, aber keine Dusche. Das Duschen in der Wanne eine Herausforderung und ausgenommen für junge Leute nahezu gefährlich durch den glatten Boden. Anschließend steht das Bad unter Wasser. Das Hotel macht von außen einen nahezu heruntergekommenen Eindruck, eine Renovierung wäre schon vor Jahren notwendig gewesen. Nachmittags gibt es weder Kuchen noch Eis, nicht mal am Wochenende.
