Hotel stylé chalet avec beaucoup de fleurs, au calme car à la sortie du village et face aux montagnes
Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour son espace bien être qui est mentionné sur booking et leur site internet.A l'arrivée on ous dit qu'il n'existe pas. En insistant fortement, la responsable avoue qu'il en existe bien un mais qu'il ne fonctionne plus depuis plusieurs mois ! Il est malhonnête et scandaleux de ne pas avertir les clients lors de la réservation qui s'élève à près de 400 euros ! D'autre part pas de clim alors que les couettes sont plutôt pour la saison hivernale. Enfin, absence d'œufs buffet du petit déjeuner...il paraît qu'il fallait demander !! Bref nous sommes très déçus

La atención o mejor dicho "desatención" de los dueños. Realmente esperaba más, mejor atención y dedicación de un hotel familiar. Nos sentimos "ninguneados".
Además hacia calor y no había siquiera un ventilador...

The hotel was very special. Great location. Clean and comfortable room with an amazing balcony. Wonderful staff.
The room, large,comfortable, cosy with a view. Good breakfast with sunrise on the glacier view and an excellent 3 services dinner. Everybody was very friendly and helpful during our stay.

We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Gletschergarten and enjoyed every moment. The hotel is very well located, opposite the Kirsche and with a bus stop outside, so it is either a short bus ride (with luggage) or a short walk into the centre of Grindelwald. Gery, Gabriela and their family are warm and welcoming hosts and were super helpful in giving good advice on the local area and organising tickets from the front desk. We had a wonderful stay.
Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, trotzdem eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Das Inhaber Ehepaar ist super nett und sehr hilfsbereit.
Zimmer für die Ausstattung etwas hoch im Preis. Aber das gehört zu Grindelwald eben dazu.
The location is perfect, at the end of Grindelwald so quiet and stunning views of the mountains from hotel windows.
The family run hotel welcomes you warmly. Rooms are bright clean and have views to take your breath away. Breakfast all you want.
One of our favorites stays ever, we felt like this family provided some of the best hospitality possible during our stay. Everyone was pleasant and helpful from service at dinner to buying tickets for excursions. The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. Dinner in the restaurant is a bargain with 4 delicious courses for 54CHF as of this writing. I strongly recommend staying here for three nights if you can and having at least one dinner at the Fiescherblick Michelin starred restaurant next door. The views are terrific from restaurant to room and the Wi-Fi was strong and fast, and the washer/dryer, while a bit clunky to use, are very welcome when you are traveling for a long while.
We had a great stay. Our room was very clean and comfortable, the restaurant was amazing, and the staff was incredibly helpful (they helped us find hiking trails and purchase gondola tickets). The location is also great - not in the busiest part of town so it is relatively quiet, but still close to everything. Could not have asked for anything more.
Convenient location, fantastic mountain view; good breakfast; warm and welcoming hosts; modern rooms with a traditional spirit. Very clean.
