Beautiful Base for Exploring the Jungfrau region!
Pros:

This is a charming hotel actively run by the 4th and 5th generations of the family. The owners are very pleasant and helpful. You can easily buy the necessary tickets for local excursions right at the front desk, and the staff is very knowledgeable about all the area attractions. There is a city bus that stops right outside the hotel, making it very easy to get to the train station and other places without walking. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with great balconies for enjoying the beautiful mountain views. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again!

Attention to making sure guests are satisfied
Pros:

The owners couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Although it was unusually warm, the evenings cooled off and the fresh air from outside was great for sleeping. I very much enjoyed staying here and would recommend it to others.

Great place to stay in Grindewald
Pros:

We loved our trip to Grindelwald and are so glad we chose Hotel Gletschergarten. Our room had a beautiful patio The owners weee very helpful in arranging our transport as well as buying our tickets to Jungfrau train
would highly recommend and hope we can return

Some old world swiss charm with a modern twist.
Pros:

Great location, staff and owners super friendly and helpful. Rooms clean, quiet and have the character of the swiss chalet. Excellent visit and would definately go back. Some old world swiss charm. Dinner is excellent value and they would make a reservation for their guests.

Exceeded our expectations in every way.
Pros:

We absolutely LOVED our experience at this hotel. The hospitality was top notch and the history and charm were lovely. Our room was nothing too large or fancy, but very tastefully done, clean, and well maintained. We felt it was perfect for the region and price point. Gabriela and Gery were so helpful in every possible way. The view from our terrace was unbeatable and the location was great. We will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone we know traveling to Grindelwald and if we ever return, we will most definitely plan to stay again.

Nice hosts, nice hotel in Grindelwald
Pros:

Gabriela and Gery were very welcoming. Our room was very clean, and nice with a balcony. The location is close to Grindelwald First. They have a game room and washer/dryer. We will come back to this hotel next time we visit Grindelwald!
