I would definitely recommend the stay! The issues with the bar most if you have the Family room with Balcony, otherwise
Pros:

The included breakfast was amazing, as well as the view we had from our balcony! The staff were extremely friendly and the room was great!

Cons:

The only sad part was how loud the bar would get late into the night. Its not the Hotels fault but there is a bar nearby and intoxicated people would be loud and making noise until 2 to 3 in the morning. This lead to waking up a lot at night and a annoyance of sleep.

A good value choice in a traditional Swiss hotel with a great location.
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay, it's a traditional, family owned 2 star, no bar, resto etc. The location was excellent opposite Barrys bar and restaurant at the Eiger hotel and next door to a great pub as well as many other places on the high street. The Eiger view room we had was large, comfortable and really clean, with a kettle and TV etc. The bathroom has recently been renovated and the furniture is clean and new, the view spectacular. The staff, especially Birgit and the young lady serving in the breakfast room were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, fresh baked goods, boiled eggs, fruit and ham, yogurt etc and local cheese. Excellent fresh coffee and tea. Free parking and a ski room we're also available. We would definitely return and are really glad to have supported a local, traditional place like this.

Cons:

The only thing I want to suggest is that you change the hairdryers in the room... They are not powerful enough and don't work very well.

Honeymoon stay at Grindelwald, at the Hotel Tschuggian
Pros:

Excellent location in middle of Grindelwald and comfy bed and fabulous views from.the bedroom. Lovely staff and simple continental style breakfast, all fresh and fabulous coffee and orange juice and everything .
All very clean and tidy and has a nice clean smell to the whole place

Cons:

No in room coffee cups like you get in some hotels .

Con mi familia tuvimos un hermoso hospedaje en el Hotel Tschuggen, desayuno completo con atención personalizada, compartimos una habitación para cuatro personas ( dos adultos y dos niños ) de forma impecable con las divisiones perfectas, hospitalidad hermosa de parte de sus propietarios con una ubicación perfecta en un ambiente familiar.
Sin dudas lo recomendamos porque volveremos desde Uruguay!

Lage super, sehr zentral an der Hauptstraße
Frühstück ok, leider nur hart gekochte Eier.

Cons:

Haus sehr alt mit Charme, aber auch hohe Hellhörigkeit. Leider waren die anderen Gäste sehr rücksichtslos, schon früh ab 6 Uhr bis Nachts 24 Uhr Gepolter und Getrampel. Sehr schade und nervig.

Pros:

We paid for a room with Eiger view and it's totally worth it! Waking up to this view is just amazing.
The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The continental breakfast is delicious , offering different fresh bread, cheese and cold meat etc.
The hotel is basic but it has everything that you need and is very charming

Cons:

Although there is parking available, it is very tight and on a hill. We chose to put ours in the Eiger parking close by - we have a large SUV (25CHF per day or a weekly tariff available)

В идеале заменить белье на новое, оно уже довольно старое.
Pros:

Расположение отличное. Сотрудники отеля очень приветливые, если возникали вопросы они помогали решить их. Завтрак небольшой, но вкусный.

Cons:

В одноместном номере слышно улицу. Над номером лестница на 3 этаж и по ней громко бегали дети.

Pros:

Es ist ein sehr schönes altes Haus, wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Schade kann man erst ab 07.30 Uhr frühstücken, es wäre schön ab 07.00uhr wegen den busen zu den skibahnen.

Would definitely come back again
Pros:

This may not be the luxury accommodation but it gave me exactly the feeling I image to be staying in the cozy little chalet in Swiss Alps. The man and lady at reception are friendly and helpful. They looked after everything including preparing breakfast every morning. Facilities and breakfast may be simple but it’s clean, warm and homey. Plus this magnificent view from our room, this became the most memorable accommodation in this trip.
