Our stay at Hotel Post Hardermannli in Interlaken was truly unforgettable. The views from the hotel are absolutely stunning, providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The location is excellent—close to everything, yet peaceful enough to fully enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.

This place was an 8 minute walk from Interlaken West train station, and there is a grocery store nearby and restaurants within walking distance. The staff is very friendly, and the hotel does provide limited free access to the bus to get around the area. I also liked there was access to a washer and dryer which you only had to get 12 CHF in coins to do a load. The only thing I didn’t care for was no elevator and no AC. They provide a small fan in the room but it wasn’t the strongest. I also happened to be there when it got hot and staying in the room was barely tolerable even with the fan on and the balcony door open. The balcony did provide a great view of the mountains. If you’re looking for something affordable and within walking distance of the train station, and you can tolerate the no elevator/no AC, then yes, consider this place. Otherwise, you may need to pay a little more for such comforts.

It was very close to everything and we had a lovely stay there. Free breakfast is a huge plus!

Making a short stop over after travelling back over the alps from Tuscany. What a fantastic place to stop! If you get a chance stop for more time as this place is lovely. We have a great view of the Jungfrau from our balcony and the town has many restaurants. The hotel is very friendly and a perfect place to stay.

This is a nice hotel in a nice partof town. The breakfast is delicious.

We had a terrific room, up front with a patio and great view. Dining options were close as well as a grocery store. We enjoyed the room so much, we both some wine, cheese and meat to eat in.

We had booked a family room for 3 adults. The picture of the room at the time of booking was different from what we were offered.

When I eventually reported it to the owner, she checked and by then Agoda was showing the same room that was offered to us.

Being on the third floor, and no elevator or concierge, carrying up and down the luggage was an inconvenience.

The hotel is kind of cute little property a bit off the Central Lucerne but with some nice restaurants close by.

The room offered certainly did not appear to be close to 26 sq mts as mentioned on Agoda.

Apart from the reservations mentioned, it was a fairly good experience.

The Hotel Hardermannli is a nice charming two-star hotel in Interlaken. The location is very central and convenient, making it a great base to explore the Jungfrau region or nearby areas like Beatenberg.

The hotel does not have an on-site restaurant or bar, but there are great options nearby. Hangar 32 Bar is perfect for a casual drink and good music and for a taste of Swiss cuisine, the cozy Bären restaurant is just around the corner and serves delicious local dishes.

The staff at Hotel Hardermannli is friendly, welcoming and always willing to help with anything you might need.

The breakfast buffet was decent, though it’s worth noting that they only serve filter coffee, which might be a downside for coffee lovers. Otherwise, the selection was satisfactory.

As for the rooms, they are small but very cozy and well-kept. The bathrooms seem to have been recently renovated and are modern and clean, which was a nice surprise for a hotel of this category.

Overall, Hotel Hardermannli is a great budget option for those looking to explore Interlaken and the surrounding area. It offers comfort, a convenient location and good service at a reasonable price.

The views from our room were out of this world. The hotel is very close to useful bus stops as well as one of the main train stations. The buffet style breakfast was good with eggs made to order.

The only downside was our shower head kept sliding down. When mentioned to the staff, they said they wouldn't be able to get a plumber out on the weekend.

Small/less than stellar showers are quite normal in Europe, so it wasn't a deal-breaker by any means. Would recommend to anyone that can handle stairs.
