The comfortable and modern room surpassed our expectations, the photos don’t do it justice. Breakfast was great.

Outside of the high price for a night ... a good hotel
Pros:

Lots of variety and healthy breakfast options. Ginger shot! Alternative options like lactose free options . Clean and Cheery Swiss atmosphere in breakfast room. Near train stations and main street. Funky large room. Huge bath! friendly helpful front desk staff and bar tender

Cons:

As usual in Swiss hotels they do not honour the standard cost based on double occupancy. You pay for each person in the room. Plus an added almost $40.00 Cad city tax! Pricey night for us Canadians with our dollar exchange @ 1.75

Tolles sehr zentrales Hotel mit allem wassn braucht - gür 2- und 4 Beiner

Sehr nettes Personal. Danke auch für doe liebevolle Möglichkeit für die Unterbringung von Yuna. Yuna hat das Hundebettli und die gute Stimmung sehr genossen. Gerne wieder! Doe Suite war super!

Pros:

Les personnes à l'accueil pour le checkin et out étaient fantastiques.
La chambre était incroyable et propre.

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner n'était pas terrible. Les jus de fruits et le café sans goût, dommage

Comfortable, clean, cosy, simple stay.
Pros:

Such a great place. Like other reviews, it’s not super new but that’s also part of the charm. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and impeccably clean, exactly what you would want. Excellent location within 5 minutes walk from the station. Breakfast was delicious as well! Super quiet at night, slept really well here.

Cons:

Hard to even think of anything here! If I must- the bar was closed due to staff illness and the gym could do with a bit of a clean (a few bits of rubbish left over), but honestly everything was great.

Hervorragend, aber im Vergleich zum bisherigen Familienbetrieb des SIMI "kosteneffizienter"
Pros:

* Wenn wir zum ersten Mal im SIMI gewesen wären, hätte es heute bei gleicher Leistung eine 10 (aussergewöhnlich) gegeben. Da wir aber schon seit Jahren bei den Vorbesitzern Gast im SIMI waren, haben wir den Übergang (Mitte 2025) vom unvergleichlich guten Familienbetrieb zum immer noch sehr guten Hotel einer Kette doch gespürt.
* Freundlichkeit und Kompetenz des Personals, Lage, Sauberkeit, Balkon, Zimmerqualität, Ruhe

Cons:

Einige Kleinigkeiten, die - wie oben erwähnt - nur auffallen, wenn man den vorherigen Familienbetrieb kannte und die der Kosteneffizienz der Hotelkette geschuldet sind:
* Bar ist nicht mehr in Betrieb
* Frühstück wird scheinbar mit weniger Personal betreut (reduziertes Angebot, verzögertes Nachfüllen)
* Reparaturen werden weniger sofort erledigt (z.B. Leuchtmittel)

Pros:

L'emplacement est très central et pratique à 4 minutes à pied de la gare.
Il y a tout ce qu'il faut comme équipements. Il y a certe pas de restaurant, mais il y en a plusieurs options à 2 pas.
Chambre calme ( en tout cas au 2ème)

Cons:

L'hôtel est vieillot et manque d'ambiance.
Le petite déjeuner c'est correct sans plus, pas example pas de légumes ou d'œuf au plat. La salle de bain avec une beignoire/ bouche est exiguë et peu pratique.
