Hotel Sabrina

Our plan was to stay at Hotel Sabrina to review the town of Cortona in advance of a culinary tour. We were pleasantly surprised to be met by the friendly and attentive owner of Hotel Sabrina, Dario, on our first night having driven from Florence in the evening. He directed us to the closest gate to the walled city of Cortona and even helped us with parking the car. Our 4 night stay at Hotel Sabrina was very pleasant and relaxing including our quiet, comfortable room and nice breakfast chatting with Dario every morning. Because of Dario, we met many local people and discovered so many unique activities for our culinary tour. Thank you again- Grazie!!!

Dario, the owner, was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is a beautiful, old and cosy establishment in an ideal location for exploring Cortona. I can't recommend it enough. Thankyou Dario and Massimo for making our stay special.

We had a 10 plus trip at the hotel Sabrina the host Dario tried in every way to help us .

My stay at hotel Sabrina was exceptional. Dario and Maximo went out of their way to make me feel welcome as a guest. The hotel itself is a charming historical building. It is centrally located in Cortona only steps away from the town square.

A natural disaster hit the Tuscan countryside in July '19. Due to flooding, landslides and generally heavy thunderstorm our three families were unable to get to our original accommodation as roads were blocked by the local police forces. We were visiting Cortona and had to find accommodation late at night. The hotel staff was very helpful and understanding of our situation, were able to accommodate us with a significantly reduced rate. The hotel is situated in an old building, the rooms are spacious, ceiling height is huge and the details are great. The roof beams in the rooms are massive and in the larger room there was a beautiful fireplace. All in all a wonderful experience, highly recommended.

Hotel Sabrina is a lovely, reasonably priced hotel in Cortona where a 16th century Italian sculptor named Fabbrucci once lived. It's location on Via Roma is a short walk to Piazza Repubblica or Piazza Signorelli and many of Cortona's museums and best restaurants. Accommodations are very comfortable, nice and tastefully done. The owner, Dario, is welcoming, friendly, very helpful and attends to details. He grew up in Cortona and Camucia and can advise guests on local activities. He is fluent in English, his second language.

Nice Hotel near the square, we had the family room which was spacious and perfect for the 4 of us for a long weekend.

I spent a night here great typical Tuscan boutique hotel, amazing service very friendly staff make you feel at home, great location. Nice clean rooms with good working WIFI. Good breakfast. Recommended if in Cortona.

From the moment my friend and I checked into Hotel Sabrina we knew we had made the right choice. The rooms were large, cool, immaculate. The staff service was outstanding. The morning coffee and pastries hit the spot for our morning walks. The open windows, the charming shutters, the sound of the cooing doves it was all the medicine we needed before we returned to school. Two teachers on holiday in Italy and abundant books on travel, Cortona and for us English teachers, even "Othello". We had no idea what delights we would discover on our daily morning walks. The cicadas, the cobble-stone streets, the food, the wine, the warm hospitality. We took endless walks, pictures, leisurely lunches, and dinners. Enchanting is all I can say about Cortona. Our Hotel Manager Dario was a consummate professional and charming beyond his years. Thank you Cortona, you have my heart.

Very good location close to everything. Great parking not too far down the street. Good breakfast. The only downside was that there is no air conditioning in the room and bugs can come in during the evening if the windows are left open.

We enjoyed our stay, three of of us in the top floor “penthouse.” The View’s were idyllic even if no elevator. Almost perfect ( 1 electric plug didn’t work, no big deal), breakfast great. the young owner was amazingly warm, friendly, helpful with all our needs. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is well situation but has no air conditioning, and thus, on a busy street, you either get quiet and are very hot, or open the window and can’t sleep due to noise.

L'hotel è in ottima posizione assolutamente centrale; è il + antico del paese e in effetti lo dimostra...nel bene e nel male: un pò trasandato il bagno e le porte molto sciatte e i mobili di bassa qualità...ma per un soggiorno di 1 notte va benissimo! la colazione è nella media.

We were visiting Cortona for a wedding and wanted to be close to the town hall. The hotel was excellent, really helpful and friendly staff. We stayed in the family suite which is 2 connected massive rooms with a bathroom. It was good value for money. The breakfast was nothing fancy but just what we needed.

Albergo centrale ma sconsigliato per persone anziane perchè privo di ascensore, indispensabile per accedere ai tre piani.Camere pulite arredate all'antica ma comode. Proprietario presente e partecipe, gentile e molto disponibile.

We stayed in this hotel for one night, at the second floor. The hotel is in the center of Cortona, it’s very good located. We never stayed in such an old building!
The room (47 I think) was large, enough space for a baby crib. The bathroom was big enough, it has a shower cabin and a bidet.
The bed is a little bit noisy.
The hotel is very chic and the owner, Dario, very helpful and friendly. We needed a kettle for our baby’s formula and a crib and he responded to our mail right away and everything was in the room at our arrival. He gave us all the information we needed and recommend a great restaurant to eat.
The hotel hasn’t a parking because of the location, but there is a public parking near and it’s free.
The breakfast was not very diversified (ham, yogurt, bread, croissants, butter, Nutella, cheese, fruits, juice, water), but it a 3 stars hotel so it was ok and the coffee was good.
The hotel has free wi-fi and tv.
I just loved our stay here. Thank you, Dario!
