Top Hotel, ruhig und in 100 m mitten im Geschehen.
Pros:

sehr schönes Hotel, sauber, 1a Service. Alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Für die Stadterkundung ideell. 15 km bis Luxemburg.
hervorzuheben ist der Burgerladen gegenüber, bester Burger ever.

Pros:

Die Lage ist um schnell in die Innenstadt zu kommen perfekt, Auto kann auf dem Hotelparkplatz der groß genug ist stehen bleiben und zu Fuß ist einiges sehr gut zu erreichen. Zimmer sauber, Betten bequem.

Cons:

Frische Früchte wären schön zum Frühstück, Bananen und Apfel die man selbst schneiden kann.

Too short a stay!
Pros:

The staff were super friendly. Location was great. Beds comfortable. Water pressure in shower good. They have a sauna on sight which is a lovely bonus. It’s 6.50 euro per person to use but definitely worth it.

Cons:

No fridge in room or coffee machine. No shower cap.

Beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Trier würden wir wieder im Deutschen Hof reservieren!
Pros:

Das Zimmer war gut eingerichtet. Das Bad, das Zimmer und überhaupt das ganze Hotel waren "Pieksauber". Das Frühstücksbuffet war übersichtlich und abwechslungsreich bestückt. Auch bei größerer Gästezahl wurden stets frische Platten und Eierspeisen nachgereicht. Der Hinweis einer Receptionistin war hilfreich, dass für Bahnreisende der Bahnhof Trier-Süd (1400m) näher am Hotel liegt als der Hauptbahnhof.
Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Trier auch für einen Tagesausflug nach Luxemburg genutzt. In der nahen Altstadt sind nicht nur bekannte Restaurantketten vertreten, sondern auch noch familiengeführte Restaurants mit regionaler Küche. Ebenso verfügt Trier noch über eine funktionierende Einzelhandelsstruktur und wir haben neben Wein auch noch einige schöne Geschenkartikel mit in den Norden genommen.

Cons:

Wer aus gesundheitlichen Gründen eine härtere Matratze benötigt sollte schon bei der Reservierung darum bitten. Die Bitte nach zwei zusätzlichen Kopfkissen wurde vom stets freundlichen Personal kurzfristig erfüllt.
