Pros:

L' hotel est fermé par la justice pour cause de commercialisation d' êtres humains, donc de prostitution organisée depuis le 19 septembre et mis sous scellés. ( doc joint)
Et pourtant les sites en ligne le commercialisent toujours.Attention ,si vous réservez, vous n' aurez rien.

Pros:

The hotel is ranked as 5 star hotel but
1: there weren’t an open restaurant.
2: the room didn’t have a coffee corner , water ، bar, iron , nothing but TV .
3: they shot electricity at 12 midnight till 7 am , with no internet.
4: the staff is around 6 people all together with room service.
5: when I complained and want to leave they didn’t agree to refund my money .
6: was not happy and don’t recommend for the hotel to stay on Expedia.
I was a client with Expedia for many years but never complained, but the experience was not good at all .

Great place for last minute booking

I did enjoy my time at this suite but I feel for a 5 star hotel there should have been more to make you feel you were staying at a suite such as this i;e clean glasses,a bath robe,an iron and reception staff giving you information on what the hotel itself has to offer in services and functions in and around the vicinity, i noticed little touches like complimentary fruits were offered but not to all and this is what gives a 5 star rating what it's worth or meant to be! Windows were filthy and curtains were old and ripped too so all this was noticeable! Only got a picture of my view from the window.

Ok hotel, stay away from the restaurant
Pros:

Hotel itself ok. A bit dated interia perhaps, but clean and functional. I slept like a baby, which I normally don't during hotel stays, so beds perfectly good :-)

The reception staff is nice and friendly and willing to help.

Stay away from the restaurant. The breakfast is horrible!! Never seen something so overpriced and poor quality in a hotel restuarant. I bet the only reason that restaurant survives is that unsuspecting hotel guests prepray for the food.

Pros:

The Markazia Suites could be superb. It is a good, building, ideally placed for access to the centre of Beirut and with huge rooms and friendly staff.
But is it s very tired hotel. The decor, carpets, curtains and facilities are dated and worn. The corridors and rooms are dowdy and there are hints that the bathrooms are not well enough cleaned.
Everything works but there are some oddities. Wifi in the room is good but does not work outside the room. If you want wifi in the restaurant you need o access the restaurant wifi.
Breakfasts OK but not Western. Bar closed due to Ramadan

Havde kun 1 overnatning men rene værelser med absurd meget plads og kæmpe seng. Morgenmaden var fin, ikke noget specielt. Afhentning fra lufthavnen kom ikke men det var intet problem at få en taxa til den samme pris. Hotellet ligger godt i et område som er tæt på martyr pladsen og hyggelige kvarterer.

Pros:

We were very well welcomed at the hotel by Antonio, he was friendly, pro active and efficient. The hotel is good, a little outdated but amazingly located. The room is big, the bed is great even if overall the decoration is not to my taste. I would highly recommend it.

Choose a better hotel in Beirut than this
Pros:

A nice enough motel-quality room with kind but not very helpful staff. Not at all the quality that I was expecting from a 5-star hotel, broken window in our room (see the photo), very dated motel-style room with a clean, basic but unattractive bathroom, unreliable wifi (that in the end wasn't solved even after visits from tech staff). I like the location, and front desk staff were indeed kind, even if not so much able to assist.
