Nice, comfortable, central hotel
Pros:

Central location, positively old-school, nice room, view into street on ground level - but quiet nonetheless. Clean, pragmatic room, beds soft as everywhere in the Netherlands, unusually spacious stair cases ;) Excellent price.

Cons:

Asked for a safe parking spot for our bicycles over night, was redirected to a typical Dutch public bicycle parking garage a few blocks away. Strictly speaking ok, but with a lot of luggage, all the back and forth for a single night stay, late in the evening anyway, this is less than optimal. Suggestion for an improvement: The overall facility is more than big enough for a dedicated parking spot inside or even behind the building.

Good value for money. Excellent location.
Pros:

Excellent, central location. Interesting building. Attached restaurant had great food.

Cons:

No external windows. The rooms had windows that were inside the building (very old palace) so they could not be opened. There was a system for circulating the air.

Heerlijke locatie
Pros:

Stijlvol, sfeervol, karaktervol hotel met prachtige details. Super locatie in het centrum van Leeuwarden.
Kamer aan centrumzijde begane grond maar door de slimme naar binnen gebouwde voorzetramen, geen enkele last van geluiden ondervonden.
Parkeren was voor ons persoonlijk wat lastig omdat we door de hoogte van de bestelbus die wij bij ons hadden, geen gebruik van de parkeergarage konden maken. Dit werd echter super opgelost door ons een plek voor het hotel aan te bieden waar normaal gesproken de auto's behorende bij het hotel geparkeerd staan.
Fantastisch!
Daarnaast in de ochtend genoten van een zeer uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet waarbij het aan niets ontbrak.
Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.
Ruime kamer met goede bedden
We hebben genoten van ons korte maar heerlijke verblijf!

locatie aan het centrum, Hotel zit verspreid over meerdere oude gebouwen wat de oorzaak is van verschillende trappen in het hotel. Ontbijtbuffet was prima.

Cons:

Kamer had geen airco, was nu gelukkig niet nodig maar is wel iets voor de zomer...

Pros:

Locatie en pand plus kamer zijn top. Daarnaast was het ontbijt prima.

Cons:

Receptie was slecht.
Niet gastvrij en daarnaast werd er in ons bijzijn negatief over andere gasten gesproken.
Dat heeft ons gestoord.
