Hotel Molino del Puente Ronda

Lovely friendly relaxed. boutique hotel in great location - perfect for visiting Ronda - and run by Elaine and Ian who are super welcoming hosts who can’t do enough to make your stay lovely.
Very reasonable prices and our room was great with a log burner which was set every day and we lit on all of our 3 nights there.

We've just returned from an 8 night stay here and if time allowed, would have stayed indefinitely! This is an amazing family run hotel, sympathically restored from an old mill with food to die for.
We stayed in room 14, an extremely spacious room upstairs (there is a lift/elevator as well as stairs) with a very comfortable bed, sofa and large bathroom consisting of a walk in shower and luxurious round bath. The room overlooked a small river and opening the window each morning filled the room with beautiful birdsong.
All staff are cheerful, welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The owners, Ian and Elaine (both English with fluent Spanish) greeted us each morning and Elaine was always on hand to advise us of places to visit and things to do.
On the one morning that we went out before breakfast, Elaine made us a lovely picnic to take with us which was greatly appreciated.
Breakfast is table service, plentiful and very filling. It saw us through each day until returning for our evening meal which was always delicious with a great menu choice. Don't miss the popular hotel special cocktail - Mango Tango - we became somewhat addicted!
The library has free tea, coffee and cake available all day, everyday.
If you're looking for a rural, quiet and relaxing stay, you can't get better than the Hotel Molino Del Puente, Ronda. Definitely recommended; we were sad to leave and return home.

Thanks for a lovely few days, 10 minute easy drive from Ronda itself, fairly quiet apart from the odd train that passes by, pool area looked lovely but we didn’t use as wanted to spend our time exploring the area. Ronda itself was amazing for views and walks. Breakfast was good, eggs and bacon, meats and fruit, coffee good. The owners and staff were very nice people, couldn’t do enough for you. Only downside is remoteness and the not opening of the restaurant on the Monday night😢 apart from that, highly recommended, thanks Elaine and Ian. Their 20th anniversary party with BBQ and live music was really good.

A fantastic little haven just out from town. The owner was very helpful, even driving us into Ronda. It is very peaceful as it is in a rural setting. The breakfast was excellent. It was the cheapest we had on our drive through Spain and by far the best. I cannot recommend this place enough. Well worth the stay.

The owners and staff were brilliant and every room came with a kettle. You will not get a warmer welcome in Spain. There was on site parking, a great pool and the food was excellent. The room had a great balcony, although the decor was a little dated.We really enjoyed our stay and it was the only place we had a decent cup of tea.

Very friendly staff. Awesome restaurant with one of the best food in Ronda.

Absolutely wonderful stay, lovely hosts, room clean and tidy.
The owners did everything to help our stay to be comfortable.
The best highlight was the food, great chef cooking excellent meals.

The price of the room was good. There were extra comforts to help with our stay.

We had an excellent stay, super friendly owners. We enjoyed the restaurant and had both breakfast and dinner there twice. Best to access by car, with a short drive to the beautiful and walkable town of Ronda.

Just had a fantastic stay at this wonderful rustic hotel, we did the wine lovers package, booked by phone direct for 2 nights, the food and the experience were both amazing, make sure you try the Parmesan ice cream?!.
It’s a little bit out of Rhonda and we used a car and parked up to look round, if we had had another day we would have walked in. But well worth it just for the experience, went to bad man winery next door very interesting. Absolutely amazing value !!!

Absolutely fantastic little family run hotel just outside Ronda (not even 10 mins away.)

Well worth it, I will never stay anywhere else. We were there for 6 nights (breakfast and dinner included) and they provided exceptional service. They also catered to my vegan diet specifically, which meant they went out of their way to make me a special meal each day. The food was fantastic (they even made special vegan hot chocolates and coffees) honestly better than any food I had in Ronda. The non vegans in our group also had excellent food and we were all very happy.

Also the rooms are lovely,. spacious and super clean.

You won't go wrong staying here.

plutôt facile à trouver à 10 mn de Ronda centre ville; situé à proximité d'une voie ferrée que l'on entend à certains moments. Accueil charmant par la gérante anglo-irlandaise; il semble qu'on parle ici plus anglais qu'espagnol ! La chambre avec la grande baignoire est sympa et de style rustique. Petit déjeuner dans une salle agréable avec céréales, oeufs, bacon, charcuterie froide, yaourt... Voiture indispensable ici.

What can we say ... AMAZING, PERFECT, COMFORTABLE, FRIENDLY, COSY, LUXURIOUS, RELAXING, IDYLLIC ...

There are loads more adjectives I could use to describe this place... We stayed for 3 nights on the Gourmet Food and Wine Lovers experience .. we r typically Rioja/Ribera del Duero kind of people BUT we are now Ronda converts lol.

The food was just fantastic - coming from the wife of a Chef that's big praise indeed. We actually sampled everything on the menu between us during our stay - not one thing we didn't like.

We don't "do" breakfast - but we did here lol.

The hosts introduced us to some lovely wines - which we then purchased to bring home - we will recreate some "Ronda Nights" in a month or two. 

We had an amazing wine tasting/bodega trip included in our package - was fascinating learning all the history of wine making in Ronda and the local Bodega were so informative - excellent for us as we make our own wine. 

The rooms are just luxurious - I did not want to get out of bed in the morning - and that was after being in it for 9 hours lol. Sur con ) heating was perfect.

The hosts at Hotel Rural Molina del Puente Ronda are so welcoming, they make you feel like part of their beautiful family. It was like chatting with family/friends we have known for years - when in fact we were only there for 3 nights. 

We werent lucky with the weather however none of this mattered as we managed to do everything we wanted to - with helpful info from our hosts - even offering to run us into Ronda one day - we declined as they are busy people but what a lovely gesture. 

We will be back when the Caminito de Ronda is totally finished.

You guys should be super proud of your Hotel, your food and your beautiful family.

Beautiful, family run hotel. We loved every minute of our stay. The rooms were comfortable and cozy. We had an amazing room facing the pool.
The pool was perfect and refreshing. Lots of chairs to relax in.
Free parking which is not common in Spain
Breakfast was included and was absolutely amazing, delicious and freshly made each morning.
I highly recommend staying here when visiting Ronda.
