Lovely hotel in super area
Pros:

Our room was large, comfortable, clean, attractive decor and quiet. Really powerful shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful. À la carte breakfast was very good. Great location, close to a good selection of boutiques, bars and restaurants and with great views from rooftop bar.

Cons:

Very small en-suite. The outside areas are looking jaded from the weather elements - could do with a lick of paint/varnish.

Centraal gelegen hotel met zeer vriendelijk personeel.
Pros:

Zeer Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Prachtig dakterras met geweldig uitzicht op de Tafelberg.

Cons:

Het ontbijt, geen buffet, onvoldoende keuze mogelijkheden. Ongezellige restaurant. Regelmatig s'avonds vol en dan werd naar een ongezellige grote kamer uitgeweken. Twee dagen geen airco op de kamer. Handdoeken bij het zwembad werden onvoldoende aangevuld. Klein zwembadje, voor ouderen is het heel lastig om er weer uit te komen. Geen trapje of beugel.

Wunderschönes und komfortables Hotel, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, sehr sauber, schön und zentral gelegen in Tamboerkloof. Das Frühstück reichhaltig und im bester Qualität.

Excellent choice of breakfasts, and a shower room available for late check-out.

Cons:

Nothing not to like, although I have made management aware of the numbers of Arsenal football club supporters working on Reception.. and have suggested some compulsory viewing of Chelsea matches for the Reception team to allow them to see the error of their ways 😀
