Parador de Cruz de Tejeda

Justo nos alojamos la noche de la dana , entiendo que esto no es culpa de nadie y no se puede controlar el tiempo pero se nos inundó la habitación de madrugada , nos cambiaron a otra que aunque tenía goteras al menos se podía entrar. Pero cuando a la mañana siguiente pedimos aunque fuera que nos incluyeran un desayuno o nos pudieran dar algún café sin coste ( ya que no dormimos nada de nada por el temporal y la inundación ) nos dijeron que no que si queríamos un café lo podíamos pagar en el sito. La tarde anterior como no se podía salir , decidimos ir al spa para pasar la tarde , y tras pagarlo nos dicen que el jacuzzi está cerrado y que la caldera no da a basto y la piscina con hidromasaje seguramente estuviera un poco fría .. hubiera estado bien que nos informaran de todo con antelación y no nos gastamo s el dinero porque no podías estar más de 5 min en el agua .

Rooms are somewhat old fashioned. Bathroom needs some refurbishment. The wellness is insanely expensive for what it has to offer, but what else are you going to do when the weather is lousy?? Crappy sandels at 5 euro, and we did not even use them. Restaurant is of really low quality, but where else are you going to go...?

Es gab jedes Jahr kleine Änderungen die finde ich eher zum Nachteil sind. Unter anderem die Bad Utensilien , nur noch auf Anfrage. Der Fernseher mit App für Netflix nichts für ältere Menschen. Infos nur über Barcode was ein Handy notwemdig macht, nicht jeder macht alles über ein Handy. Es gab die letzten Jahre immer 1 Flasche Wasser im Zimmer, dieses Jahr nicht, bei Nachfrage nur bei mehr als 1 Übernachtung. Bei dem Übernachtungspreis finde ich die Wasserflasche selbstverständlich.
Sauberkeit hat ebenfalls nachgelassen, lange Haare im Bad in der Wanne und auf dem Boden.
Das Essen im Panorama Cafe war ok, der Burger leider kalt und für den Preis von 15 Euro mit kl. Menge Pommes etwas überteuert. Da erwartet man mehr Qualität in diesem Hotel. Im Restaurant bei unserem letzten Aufenthalt waren wir auch nicht mehr so zufrieden daher diesmal der Versuch mit Burger im Cafe darüber.

Unfortunately I can’t couldn’t give a higher score as we had problems with this hotel regarding payment. I paid via booking.com for 2 adults 1double room breakfasts included. The hotel insisted I had only paid for 1 breakfast as there was 1 name on the booking.
There is no place to put a second name on the booking form as you follow the protocol set out on booking.com
In the end I just paid the €18.75 for the second breakfast for my husband instead of arguing and potentially spoiling our holiday. They know there’s no where else to have breakfast so you are a captive audience.
I haven’t had this issue anywhere else just this hotel. It just feels like some sort of con to get more money out of the customer. I use bookin.com and never had any issues until now.
My advice to anyone is message the hotel directly to have down in black & white what you are getting.
Also about the breakfast, it was okay but didn’t have any tea but only coffee. Seeing as many customers are British and love their morning cuppa this was quite disappointing. There is also no hot food for breakfast unless you order it!
There is no facilities to make a hot drink in your room. So you will not get a cup of tea in this place at all!
If you are hoping for Mountain View’s you maybe disappointed.
