Pros:

Beautifully renovated rooms, super clean, friendly staff, wonderful restaurant with endless views from terrace. Murren itself was perfect for us to base our stay and the hotel was easily accessible off the Murren lifts.

Simply divine, utterly perfect in every respect!

This hotel is genuinely, all things taken into consideration, the vert best hotel I have ever stayed at. Yes, it's expensive, but there's a reason for that - not only because of it's location, but because the transportation of food and sundries to run the hotel must require great expense from the owners of the hotel due to it's remote location.

The hotel owners are always present, helpful, cheerful and welcoming. The setting of the hotel is unparalleled - simply the most awesome and jaw-dropping view across the valley to the three great mountains of the Bernese Oberland. The stunning terrace where you can dine for breakfast, lunch and dinner cannot be beaten for the quality of the food and the scenery from your table!

The rooms were modern, high-spec, and spotlessly clean. I was tempted to stay in a more rustic, 'authentic' Swiss alpine hotel, but I'm so glad I didn't because that injection of modern comforts that this hotel offers is the perfect way to appreciate this stunning village and it's awe-inspiring surroundings.

Perfect in every way, and I would like to commend the owners of the hotel for their incredible hospitality.

Enjoyable stay in a family-run hotel set in the heart of mountainside adventure.
Pros:

The view is awesome. The staff members are friendly and work hard to make you comfortable. Breakfast was nicely presented and buffet choices were regional and plentiful. Our dinner was very nice and served on the patio with spectacular views.

Cons:

Oddly, there was no mini-fridge in our room. We were in a standard double, which might have been the reason for this. The property has a “premium” level of rooms which could have different amenities.

The terrace for the Restaurant had the most amazing view of mountains and scenery. We could watch paragliders float right by our table in the valley next to the Terrace. I’m impression of SWISS. People are very stoic. The initial contact was not very warm. However, staying there for two days and having exchanges with staff members they turned out to be quite nice and became more friendly and warmer. I won’t be critical. I’ll just say perhaps I needed to adjust to the culture.

Cons:

No refrigerator in the room. I have medication’s are required refrigeration. However the desk clerk was very helpful to label my medication’s and put them in the kitchen refrigerator. I easily retrieved my medication’s upon checking out.
