Great day spent in a beautiful place with great company great food and great company

Can’t wait to come back! Easy to pretend you were king and queen for a spell.
Pros:

Amazing building, gorgeous location and grounds. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially front door man who gave us interesting history of the castle and area.
Great breakfast with unlimited choices.

Cons:

Wish there had been a less expensive dining room with a different menu than the fine dining, which was lovely but very expensive.

I had looked forward to it but it was very underwhelming.

The building and grounds are beautiful.

Cons:

The service was slow and inefficient throughout. The five course meal was not worth the money. Some staff really lacked confidence and enthusiasm when explaining the dishes.
