Sirkeci Esen Hotel

ما انصح احد بهالفندق ابدا ، وصلت ومعي العائله واستقبلني بطريقه سيئه وقالي مافيه غرف عنده ونقلني ع فندق ثاني جنبه قديم و سيء جدا ورائحة الغرف سيئه.

I was hesitant to book here as the reviews were very poor. I only stayed 2 nights as a solo person. But it was fine. Firstly the receptionist gave me a choice of 2 rooms which I appreciated. I chose the second. Although it was smaller, it was padded(not sure of the word I'm looking for) with wood. This gave the room a sense of stillness and comfort. I felt very cocooned. The bed was really really comfortable. There is a lift in the hotel and a kettle in the room.
The bathroom door slides but also pivots...I don't think that is meant to happen. The window in the bathroom doesn't close(its a small window, nobody can see inside!) This means that its fine in the summer..however if it was cold in Turkiye this would be a big problem. The hotel is literally next to the train station and Marmary.I don't mean close by..I mean right next to it so it's very convenient.
I didn't exprience the breakfast so I can't speak on it. However the area is very expensive so I went elsewhere to eat. The tram line to take you to the main sights of Istanbul is probably a 3 minute walk. All things considered I'd say it's okay for a single person for a few nights

Welcoming good staff.

Man bekommt nicht das Zimmer welches man gebucht und bezahlt hat! Statt dessen versucht der Besitzer das Zimmer an andere zu geben und somit doppelt Gewinn zu machen!

İsletme gerçekten cok cana yakın insanlardan oluşuyordu . Odalarin temizligi ve rahatligi cok iyiydi biz en cok konum olarak sevdik
Mısır carsisina , eminonu meydani hepsi yurume mesafesindeydi

Worst stay. We were given a room which was not what we booked in another place not main hotel. The bed we got was not changed as we found hair and used bed. I have asked for change but they didnt change. Istanbul was raining and entrance door was very wet with rain water. The area is so noisy even at night that we couldnt sleep. Worst ever experience

Cana yakın insanlar, kendimi evimde gibi hissettim. Bidaha geleceğim, herkese ve cowboy amcaya selamlar

Wir haben dort keine Nacht übernachtet, haben unser Hotel gewechselt. Uns wurde gesagt das dass Hotel voll ist und wir gegenüber vom eigentlichen Hotel in einem Zimmer übernachten müssen, obwohl ich ein Monat vorher gebucht habe. Die Zimmer entsprechen nicht die Bilder. Es war sehr unhygienisch, Klodeckel wurde an die wand mit Klebeband festgemacht damit er nicht immer wieder zuklappt. Hotel Besitzer sehr unfreundlich. Wir haben auch Expedia auch versucht zu erreichen aber ohne Erfolg, der Chat Support war deaktiviert. Ich werde versuchen eine Entschädigung zu bekommen.

Leider müssten wir unseren gebuchten Zimmer umtauschen und müssten Rest des Aufenthalts in eine kleinere Zimmer.
Personal meist unfreundlich.
Frühstück schrecklich.
Sauberkeit schrecklich.
Einzig gute ist die Lage.

Overall nice. The hotel owner (i think?) is also the mascot of the place, and shares alot of joy with his unique cowboy outfit! Very charming! The hotel is located central to everything. Trains and trams are just a minute away.

Family oriented great team

Terrible! We were 2 adults and 3 kids who suffered a severe food poisening that we got in this hotel, without any doubt from the breakfast buffet. Our 4 y/o even had to be admitted in the hospital 2 days later. The breakfast is very poor. The worst is its not chilled and in a very warm eating area, uncovered and the way it looked maybe even re-cooled from day(s) before.

The staff is cold and distant and doesnt really make contact, even when you try to.

Our room missed many essentials, as a bin, simple hooks to hang your clothing. We traveled with kids but did not receive any extra sheets, they used towels. The bathroom was in bad condition,the bath dark yellow, just too disgusting to even stand in.

Honoustly the only good thing was the view of the water and for people who travel by train, it lies literally next to the station entrance.

So we recommend the location, but stay away from the food!

Appena arrivati scopriamo che le nostre camere non si trovano all'interno della struttura ma bensì in un edificio di fronte in uno stato pessimo, le camere erano piccole, sporche con i muri scrostati e con muffa,il bagno era piccolissimo e con formiche.Il proprietario molto maleducato e disonesto, le foto sul sito sono ingannevoli in quanto non corrispondono alla realtà.Morale della favola siamo dovuti andare in un'altra struttura e il maleducato gestore si è rifiutato di rimborsarci la cifra già pagata.Pessimo da non consigliare ASSOLUTAMENTE!!

Central location, near to everything, breakfast very nice, very very budget friendly

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem Hotel.
Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich.

Also ich würde da nie wieder ein Zimmer buchen. Auf den Bildern sieht alles schön aus aber in Wahrheit ein NoGo. Ich kann und werde nicht dieses Hotel weiterempfehlen. Die Zimmer sind nicht Sauber die WC sind auch nicht Sauber. Die Decke der WC war undicht und kam Wasser von oben wir haben es gemeldet aber ke

Excellent breakfast, in my favourite location, nice staff, cheap taxi to airport. But bathroom corners are not clean with green/black stuff growing. Still OK if you get a cheap price.
