The hotel is in a perfect location, with a great view of the city. The breakfast area is very tastefully and pleasantly decorated, and you can use it outside breakfast hours to read or work. The little library is also a great place to sit and read. The breakfasts were fresh and tasty. The room was nicely decorated and tidy.

Cons:

Definitely the size of the room – very small and with sloping ceilings (although small rooms seem to be a characteristic of the centre of Nancy). It was slowly starting to get chilly outside – and the heating in the room wasn’t working properly (as described, it’s AI-controlled) – the room wasn’t warm. It was also surprising that the spa, which is mentioned in the hotel’s name, is an extra charge. A minor flaw that’s easy to fix – when I asked for an iron, it was delivered to the room along with a mini ironing board – when you’ve got 2–3 shirts to iron, it’s very uncomfortable to iron on such a small board placed on the bed.

Wonderful celebration of Stendhal - and a fab location in centre of Nancy.
Pros:

Nous aurions aimé être prévenu la veille que l'eau chaude mettait un certain temps à arriver le matin quand vous êtes les premiers à vous doucher à 6h30.
Mon mari a laissé couler l'eau un moment et a fini par prendre sa douche à l'eau froide. Et moi même ensuite j'ai encore laissé l'eau du robinet couler pendant au moins 5 minutes sans avoir plus d'eau chaude....
En remontant du petit déjeuner, il y avait effectivement de l'eau chaude mais nous n'avions malheureusement plus le temps pour en profiter...

Gute Ausgangsposition beim Besuch der Stadt Nancy.
Pros:

Sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel mit hübschem Frühstücksraum im Wintergarten.
Sehr liebevolle Dekoration in Anlehnung an das Leben und Werk Stendhals.
Sehr modernes neues Bad.

Cons:

Bei unserem Aufenthalt jetzt im Oktober war das Zimmer mit 19 Grad viel zu kalt und dies ließ sich trotz redlichen Bemühens durch die Rezeption kein bisschen ändern. Offensichtlich kein Hotel für Übergangszeit und Winter, wenn man mit 19 Grad nicht zufrieden ist.
