L'albergo è molto bello, soprattutto il salone con un bellissimo affresco. La tranquillità è imperativa. l'Etna ne è contraltare. I servizi benessere sono completi. Peccato non aver provato le escursioni.
Per il ristorante non sono ancora all'altezza 😅

La struttura è situata all’interno di un bellissimo stabile storico e ben tenuto, colazione e cena sono un’esperienza incredibile, la SPA é veramente molto bella!
La camera era mansardata ma comunque molto bella, purtroppo pioveva e avendo le finestre a tetto non si potevano aprire, mi sarebbe piaciuto avere un affaccio
Struttura raffinata ed elegante ristorante eccellente
Abbiamo soggiornato presso questa struttura lo scorso fine settimana. Parto da ciò che mi è piaciuto. Lo Shalai e' un palazzo fine ottocento finemente ristrutturato, elegante ed accogliente. I punti forti sono sicuramente il ristorante e la gentilezza del personale. Dispone anche di una SPA che, sebbene piccolina, è comunque fruibile e godibile.
La nota dolente è rappresentata, almeno per quel che riguarda la nostra esperienza, dalle camere. Noi avevamo una matrimoniale superior: carina, ma dal rapporto qualità/prezzo non eccelso, perché, pur essendo discreta spaziosa, era dotata di un bagno di livello assolutamente non confacente al resto della struttura, soprattutto perché la doccia era dorata di una antiquata e per nulla igienica tendina come neanche negli alberghi da una stella ormai. Ecco, un suggerimento per la proprietà: la struttura è strepitosa, il personale un valore aggiunto, la spa godibilissima e il ristorante top, ma, per favore, eliminare quelle tendine.
Il bagno della camera non era all' altezza della struttura nel complesso.
La tendina della doccia è proprio da evitare sempre e comunque, a maggior ragione in una struttura del genere.
Bellissimo palazzo tipico da boutique hotel. Colazione da ristorante stellato. A tal proposito sottolineo che ho cenato allo stellato ed è stato eccellente; andare da shalai ristorante vale il viaggio e soggiornare al shalai hotel è comunque la scelta giusta.
Una cosa che mi ha colpito, principalmente l'unica che non mi sia piaciuta è che non è presente l'ascensore. Forse tutto ciò non dipende dalla sola volontà dei gestori, però potrebbero supplire con un sistema rafforzato di facchinaggio.
